Now I see the downside of using wood or laminate flooring instead of carpet. There is a lot of echo from voices (bad acoustics) and noise from walking on it with shoes.

All these new apartments are built for college kids…. Why do you need 2 full bathrooms in a 2 bedroom place? Wasted space and more money. And let’s not forget to mention when the price of a 2 bedroom in charlotte cost the same price as a place in San Diego there’s a problem.
