This is a "re-do" of a pre-existing video. There were reasons why this had to be done. Don't worry about it! To the 159 folks that saw the original version sorry to disappoint, and thanks for watching 👍 👀 😀

Warriorland Crossbow MA2 Weapon Light Review
seems like that’s how mine shoots not super impressive accuracy. even at 50 yards. I will say I haven’t tried a lot of different kinds of ammo.
Since this video was made we have done a ton of research and work on the rifle which has mostly been documented on the series. The video you commented on is part 1 and we have put out up to part 5 as well as an additional bonus video so far. Long story short the rifle was made to shoot very well but if you are interested in seeing what all we did before we got to that point I'll post a link to the playlist here: Ruger Hawkeye Guide Gun: ua-cam.com/play/PLPtUC6Hk3Uz2IsteVKYNc7RKO1tRuTlxS.html Thanks for watching 👍
Seen it on the shelf. Haven't tried it. Yet. Still looking for my round-to-it...
Wow, that thing is wild.
Kelly bro, I think this thing is good for what it's good for and not much else! Lol! Happy Thanksgiving!
Open the floor plate and tighten the screw up. Most ruger m77 accuracy problems are due to this screw being loose a little bit.
While the torque on the screws is somewhat important on the M77 platform, this rifle had more wrong with it than just that. This video was part 3 in a five-part series that we produced on fixing what was wrong with this fine rifle. We now have it shooting consistently under 1 inch with a variety of ammunition. Thanks for watching 👍
Just used your code w/the Black Friday sale and paid 68 bucks! Thanks for the great review and promo!
Is the Trigger on that weapon adjustable for a lighter Trigger Pull ?
Yes it is. It's a similar concept to Savage's Accutrigger. I purposefully left this one alone because it's a youth hunters rifle. Thanks for watching 👍
I have the graphene one coming from the warehouse at the local gun shop next week. replacing my g3c with it as I wanted something smaller
I think you'll like it. I've had this one a very long time and it continues to work well.
Bear Creek has been upping Their game overall imo…similarly so has PSA. Will be interesting to see how the Grizzly does long term vs the competition. Another good video Brother!
So I've got both the PSA Dagger and the Grizzly. I'm going to do a side by side comparison soon. Thanks for watching B!
Thank you ! Helped me change mine out.
Thanks for sharing 👍
Have 3 bca uppers. A side charging .350 legend, a ar15 16" wylde, and a 6.5 creedmoor. No issues with none. But will say when it's listed as a heavy barrel, they aren't kidding. My 6.5 ar10 is a pig!
We continue to have good luck with our BCA uppers. If your interested, we just did a review of the all new BCA 102 Grizzly. Here's the link to the video:ua-cam.com/video/twnoEht0Om4/v-deo.html
I just picked up one of these in immaculate condition and I have a 1 1/2 x 5 Vari X lll coming to put on it, I love big bore rifles and pistols and this is the first 375 that I’ve ever had. I bought a REM 700 Safari grade 458 WM back in the early ‘80’s that myself and friends have shot quite a lot.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing 👍 I love the .375 and have 3 of them. I actually did a little "show and tell" bit on them awhile ago. Here's the link to the video: ua-cam.com/video/us-bVVLUx0E/v-deo.html
I’m considering buying a Ruger m77 Hawkeye and this has been super informative. Really enjoyed the whole series. I will definitely look into the Alaska QR rings and floor plate.
Now that the initial disappointment of having to fix it to get it right is behind me, I'm at piece with the purchase and the work that was necessary. If I were to do it over again I would probably buy one with the synthetic stock rather than the Green Mountain laminate stock. I see many of these (M77's in general) for sale on GunBroker that go in the $600 to $800 range. Although right now is not a good time to try to buy a hunting rifle on GunBroker as with hunting season in full swing rifles are commanding a premium at the moment. You would be better off to wait until after Christmas when everybody spent their spending money.
When you said ruger that was enough i know that ruger rifle's shoot horrible i have never seen one that would shoot ruger makes quantity not quality. But if you are satisfied with it then so am I Beagleman
Thanks for sharing.
Hmmmm, my Ruger Gen 2 in 7mm-08 shoots sub moa groups with factory ammo. 'Nuff said!
You'll never convince them once their mind is made up. My next rifle will be a Gen 2 Predator in 7mm-08. Thanks for watching 👍
I like the Galloway trigger. I think it is better than the stock trigger.
I agree 👍 Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the information 👍 and have a blessed weekend.
Great video Jay seems like a nice Optic... I Been dealing with sinus also...Happy Thanksgiving God bless from Kentucky
All of the Gowutar optics I've messed with have held up well. Happy Thanksgiving back at you, God bless you and yours!

Very cool optic option…haven’t heard of that Maker before so Thanks for sharing your experiences with it…Hope you have a good Turkey Day !!
Nice looking pistol 👍. I appreciate the comprehensive and informative review. Keep the wind to your back 😊 and keep shooting.
Thanks for watching Keith 👍 Look forward to letting you shoot it!
Just ordered a Brushline 3x9-40. I saw your submersion test and couple of videos...I'll give you an update when I get my Remington 700 .270 Win. Setup
You'll be happy with your decision! Thanks for sharing 👍
Excellent review. Some people say the grip is too small and needs another inch or two but I think they are not doing the C grip.
Thanks for watching!
LOL…definitely noise outside and overhead Jay…keep on truckin with the humor and UFO vids !!
You got it brother 💪
Not familiar with this brand but definitely has a good power range it seems…keep up the good work 🇺🇸👏🏼
So I gave the one that had the focus issue to a friend of mine and he has been doing his best to rid East Texas of its surplus feral hog population with it ever since.
I like my p365 and p365xl. Fit my hand great and points naturally for me.
Mine is great but soon to get a makeover. Stay tuned!
I have this rifle in 30-06. Had absolutely excellent accuracy. Even better then my long range heavy barrel Remington 700 which is free floated. My 30-06 hawkeye superbly accurate. But I can say I don't shoot factory ammo. I just reload because box ammo is too expensive.
I'm glad to hear it, and thanks for sharing! We have done a lot with this rifle since this video came out. It now shoots exceptionally well, and I've worked up a reasonably accurate handload for the same reason. I'm currently getting .75MOA from 165gr Hornady SST loaded over 55gr 4350. There are a couple of factory loads that group better than that, and I'll continue playing around with a pet load as well. Thanks for watching 👍
When you mentioned rust, that is enough to turn me off from Ruger and I have always liked their products. Yet, if Ruger is using cheap Chinese metals in their products, that is not the reflection of being a very American company!
Thanks for watching 👍
thanks everyone has to pay attention and stay up thanks Tim
Thanks for watching
Hey Jay, thanks for your info-clip and yes, I am a Ruger Guy based on their good quality and their fair prices and I'm glad that you're a Trump Guy too - take care and shoot safe!
Thanks for watching 👍
Anytime!
I’m using sight mark Hope this works as well🎉🎉😊
Thanks for watching brother!
video starts at 2:40
The reason we are able to create free internet content for the public to view is because of partnering with companies like XS Sights. I'm sorry if that causes you some level of inconvenience.
Stainless steel can still rust regardless. You must be new to guns?
Are you sure that's the position you wish to take?
Jay I love all the positive reviews on Gx4 from a ton of good shooters as my wife has new tx 22 ,I have put at least 1000 rounds flawless fun to shoot also with my full size Canik.I am looking at mp shield , ruger max 9, I know I will go with new taurus gx4 toro and yes it will have night front sight, more guns should put on as 71 year old eyes. Great review jus subscribed thanks Tim
Thanks for sharing brother 👍
That's a cool shirt!
Thanks Bro!
Nice rifle. Looking to get one myself..
I'm looking to get another after I get my taxes done this next spring.
Rule #1. Run the load that your rifle prefers. It's crazy how often my stuff prefers the Hornady interlock. The 243 in particular. My coyote setup. Desperately wanted it to shoot the 87gr VMax. Nope. Nuthin' doin'. 100 grain interlock it is. So that dedicated coyote rig now happens to be a great all arounder.
Thanks for sharing brother 👍
If I shot a nearly 1.5 inch group with a 243 with that scope on it. I would be ashamed to tell anyone. Much less feel I should make a video for UA-cam. That’s terrible.
Once again I must apologize to a triggered member of the consuming>contributing online community that our free internet content is not up to your standards. Posting the not-so-great along with the pretty good is part of what makes a realistic video. If we omitted all of the failed attempts that happened along the way and only posted the bright and shiny results of the occasional stroke of fortune then the videos just wouldn't be very believable. If you watched the video to the end before you stopped to throw stones then no doubt you would have seen the quarter inch group we shot with the Remington Core-lokt Tipped ammo. That was around the 8:30 mark. Also if you were to have seen the original review video on this rifle you would have seen that most of the groups that we shot which included a wide variety of factory loadings were in the sub minute of angle range. I did jump over to your UA-cam account to see the videos that you have made showing how to do it correctly and I was unable to find them? So if you could help me out by answering these simple questions. Do you make videos, or do you just criticized videos that other people make? Thanks for sharing buddy 👍
@ when someone is interested in buying a rifle or anything in general. They such as myself depend on these so called shooters that feel they are proficient enough with firearms to be comfortable to make product reviews. So the public naturally assumes that shooter knows what they are doing. After watching several videos on these Gen 2’s. I nearly backed out on a rifle that I already had ordered. Seeing all these 1.35 to 2” groups from other videos. Had me concerned. But since it was already paid for I went ahead and picked it up. Brought it home and threw a decent scope on it. Sighted it in. First group I shot off a plastic ret from Walmart was a 5/8 group. On shots 8-9-10. Needless to say. This rifle out performs the UA-cam “professionals” that put so much time into making a review that makes the product look far more inferior than it actually is.
@michaeldoby1144 let me know when you get your video made so I can see how it is supposed to be done.
@ no problem.
It has been my observation by watching Mason leathers channel that the tip core locked in the tips fusion are pretty accurate, but do not retain as much weight as their soft point counterpart
I agree with your assessment. I watch most of Mason Leather's stuff as he's probably the best on the internet right now of doing what it is that he does and I observed the same findings that you're addressing. Thanks for watching 👍
Gen 3 is probly my next purchase
I've had them all, and the only one I've kept is the Gen 3. I'm gonna to hold onto it because I think they got it right this time. Thanks for watching 👍
Did I miss the pattern at 7 yds?
If you blinked at the right moment you could have.
Great video thanks for sharing the knowledge, I’m finally stocked up on training ammo , 10k 5.56 , thinking of reloading defense /match ammo for 5.56 and 308
I recommend you get small base dies (RCBS X dies) for semi auto rifle use. www.rcbs.com/dies-%26-shell-holders/rifle-dies/x-die-small-base-sizer-die/1000032.html?srsltid=AfmBOooNAmWRKQj3b1uqeZfJdrXjfzzvf7w8DQJ_XkPhqRw5ZWxQhog4
It is a shame, the cost of things now days.
Yep
Thank you jay for not taking the easy way out and showing us how poor of a job ruger did. God bless you and your family 😊❤
Thanks!
Was thinking of buying one now I won't I live in the south if it rust that much in a couple months no way
Hey thanks for watching 👍 We did a lot with that rifle this year and after "fixing it" had it running really good. That said, for the money our Ruger American Gen 2 in .243 is a way better rifle. If I had it to do over again I'd buy another Gen 2.
That's with the adapter 😳
Thanks for watching.
I was not aware of the Alaska QR rings, they did what they were designed to do. Never used QR rings before, just no faith... will be rethinking that. I've really enjoyed this video series. Again, Thank You for all You Do and have a Blessed Day.
Thanks for watching 👍
Great content. Attention to detail and documentation second to none. IMHO, Excellence at its best! Thank You for all You Do!
Thanks for watching 👍
Well done! Thank You.
Thanks for watching 👍
Paul Harrell. I watched many of his videos... Just an ol' geezer with a gun! Will be truly missed. Definitely saddened by his passing😢
Paul was the best!
You got my email. Can we start corresponding? I’ve learned a lot from your last video. I’m thankful for that. I’m not trying to save up front. I want to get stuff that’ll last me a lifetime for the most part. Maybe even be able to teach my kids on. I’m about to rewatch the playlist you gave me again. I’m 2-3 months away from purchasing all this and I’d like to ask about a couple kits I’ve seen. Also I tried looking into shotgun reloading and the old guy at the gun shop said that if I reload anything but bird shot. I’d never get a good pattern. I should buy buckshot new always. Seems like there wouldn’t be reloading supplies for it, if it didn’t work. Sorry for the long paragraph. You’re the only person I’m even acquainted with that reloads.
Do me a favor and send me another email to oldweaseldiesel@gmail.com so I can get ahold of you.
I'm in the market for a 308. The Stevens 334 Walnut is appealing to me because of the wood stock and price $410 at my local store. However, it has its shortcomings as you know better than I. CVA Cascade SB, rumor has it that it's pretty accurate. Last but not least, a few folks have advised me to get the Ruger American, mostly the guy at the range. Boss doesn't want me to spend $$$ right now. So, I'll have to sell something to get something else😢. I could just wait😮 Not. The Jury's out, and the American Gen.2 keeps finding it way back into the room. Jay, as always, Thank You for all you do and Have a Blessed Day.
The Stevens has potential to be a great rifle but requires work to get it there. Probably the biggest issue with the American Gen 2 is the magazine being extremely difficult to insert on a closed bolt. That makes "topping off" with that 4th round a pain in the neck! I'm not the only one to complain about that. Otherwise it has been really good. The Cascade is indeed rumored to be pretty good. I have no experience with that one. It's essentially a Bergara B14. My Stevens 334 is gone now as an example of that sell something to get something you were talking about... Thanks for watching 👍
It worked ! From 6.6 to 4.12 and far less creep. Altho I did not go a full two turns. Thank you
Good to hear. Double check your safety to make sure it still engages as you're essentially pure loading the first stage of a 2 stage trigger (the creep you mentioned is that first stage). Thanks for sharing 👍
