Crazy Loud Gassie - Transdev John Holland m/o 4868 (Custom + Mercedes O500LE CNG)
Considered one of the loudest ZFs in Sydney, this is Port Botany depot's m/o 4868. Built in 2007, this bus goes very nicely and has a wonderfully loud ZF. Timestamps for especially nice moments below.

Of the numerous Metrobus prototype buses, this one is my personal favourite due to how powerful and nice sounding it is. One of Ryde's best CNGs, 2284 ST on a morning commuter run towards Parramatta. This bus used to be at Waverley until its CNG equipment got shut down and like the majority of good CNGs at Ryde, is a former Waverley unit. Probably the best bus built on this chassis on an evening 545 short-run towards Eastwood from Parramatta. The previous bus was running extremely late so fortunately the entire trip is empty. I think this might be one of the last non air-conditioned buses left in route service today in Sydney. This is the same chassis as CDC NSW Dural's Custom 550s but has a slightly different bodywork. This bus is extremely rare to come across due to how little it comes out. A former trial bus for the Metrobus services, a Custom Coaches CB60 Evo II bodied Scania K310UA. The body is same as its Adelaide counterparts but it has a slightly different chassis. This model of bus, the Custom CB60 bodied Volvo B12BLEA Euro 3, has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to a recent maintenance check finding cracks in the connecting plate. These buses are quite old and nearing retirement age but they will be kept in the fleet due to the necessity of bendy buses. This is a taller, Custom Coaches built counterpart for a 14.5m bus used by CDC Hillsbus. These have comfier features compared to the Volgrens, such as a much smaller wheel hump towards the back seats. While these have quieter ZFs compared to the Volgrens, I think this is the loudest one among these buses, and has a very nice 2nd to 3rd gear whine and 5th gear whine. I hope you enjoy :) Operator...

I have seen some of these at Parramatta under Transit Systems West, some with Voith transmissions. This is the only one of its kind at Busways though :)
great video! also hey try and find 1973 st from Leichhardt while its not the loudest - it has one of the most enthusing mix of ZF + hubs + howl up there with 1984 st! at least the last time i ridden it
I have not taken any Leichhardt CNGs yet but I can go try find 1973 sometime. It has been quite a while since I've been on 1984 as well
