Kubota B2601 LA435 swift tach front loader leg problem

2021 Kubota B2601 and B2301 front end loader attachment model LA435 swift tach stand issues. Loader bucket frame makes contanct with bolts on front end loader drop-down leg. After inspecting the system, I discovered that the bolt assembly on both left and right stands were too loose causing excessive free play. Also discovered there is a missing bushing on the left side causing the leg assembly...

The legs on my 2601 won’t drop. In fact they don’t even disengage from the lock. I’ve taken it in to the dealer three times to fix this problem. Unfortunately, they’ve never gotten it to work.

Don't know what your dealer tried. But USUALLY if they don't drop, the bolts are to tight at the legs. Or pins of the drop system are not adjusted evenly. There is a long galvanized screw coming out of the long 3 foot rod attached to the release handle. Need to remove the wire lock to adjust. It took me a bit of tightening and loosening parts until I got my system even. It's not rocket science but does take a little time to get things straight. Also, I play with all kings of toys and tools and came out of the fire service. I have dealt with dealers, mechanics and instructors. Sometimes even instructors are over glorified by someone who thought they were the right person for the job. Moral is that they don't always know what they are talking about and such is the case with the lead mechanic at my dealership. Ha ha. If you want to tinker with it, I recommend you lift the loader and take your time adjusting the system on level ground. BE SAFE.

This is interesting and I wonder if this is why there seems to be problems with the bolt hitting the bucket. I actually went to the dealer after seeing this. I have a different problem and was looking for help, but asked about this. The guy in service showed me that there is not supposed to be a washer, 2 different models of the LA435 and one has them, one doesn't? not sure if that is correct, but that is what he said. I think you have the correct solution, just not sure how easy it is to take that apart. We looked at 3 different tractors with that LA435 and none of them had washers on either side but all had a little slop. One was in service for repair because of the same problem you had and you can see where the bucket hit the bolt. I also think that these bolts all need to be tightened regularly, I lost a bolt for the locking mechanism on mine and was there to get a replacement bolt, just glad nothing in the system broke or bent.

I did discover that there was no washer on the right side. The bent galvanized peace was actually dog leg bent at the factory to move the partst over some the prevent it from catching on the bucket. Which I hope to make a short video to recommend as the easier fix. I went to the dealer some time later to get filters and they told me that they later had the same problem with a new tractor in their yard and determined the its a bad design. They ended up watching my video to fix there new tractor.

Bro you have saved me so much time trouble shooting this problem. I figured it had something to do with those bolts being loose, apparently some of them need to be tightened after so many hours of operation, BUT I must have missed that when I was not reading the owners manual. But thanks again you’ve helped me tremendously.

Nice fix!! I'm going to do this to mine. Still not sure why Kubota can't address this.
