My mom used to make corned beef and cabbage sandwich spread. It had mayonnaise, some finely chopped bell pepper and/or hot pepper and onion. Yummy!

This looks really yummy. My Mom used to pack corned beef sandwiches in our lunch boxes when we were going to school.. I think she mixed with Miracle Whip and sweet pickle relish, maybe a bit of mustard along with iceberg lettuce on regular white bread. We loved it! Your recipe would also be great as a dip with crackers!

I'm going to try this recipe, a girlfriend of mine back in the 90s showed me a sandwich recipe that's really good,you can open a can, take the corned beef out meshed all together in the can shape, cut it in slice's about half an inch thick cut thin slice's of sharp cheddar cheese, or however thick you like the cheese, put it on french bread with some mayonaise and mustard, it's really good, again thanks for this recipe, this is like a pate(patae).

I just made it and it looks awesome, only hick is that the cream cheese that was close to the sides bubbled over , next time will do in a bigger pan and will not put the cream cheese too close to the sides thank you I am sure my family will love this birthday cake
