Hi, welcome on my channel.
My name is Szymon and I've been building models since I was 6 and it became my biggest passion.
I've made some attempts to start making youtube videos in 2017 but after publishing few of them I decided to take my time and improve not only my filming setup but also my skills and my workshop.
I am more of a builder than a painter, I like to add lots of details to my models resin, photo etched but I'm not afraid of scratch building. If it comes to painting I like to experiment with different techniques a lot. I'm a big fan of modelling books and magazines which are my main source of inspiration and knowledge on how to paint and weather models.
My preferred scale is 1/72, but I'm planning to move onto bigger scales one day.
I hope you'll find my videos helpful.
If you want to contact me my email is: Ytkomar@gmail.com

Awesome work!!🇦🇺🇦🇺 What parts did you use to convert it to an AIM model and are they available in 1/35?
Very fine work! Outstanding!
man this channel deserves more subs, Im loving going through your channels older videos :P
Very nice work 👏
Thank you know I can make mine perfectly.
Excellent work on this Abrams. It’s one of my favorite tanks. Thank you for sharing it with us. Cheers, Any.
Thank you very much Any. I like it too, it has so many smooth surfaces comparing to a leopard for example, great for interesting camouflages and wethering. Best wishes, Szymon.
to może teraz jakiś abramsik w polskim malowaniu i w 1/35?
1/35 raczej odpada, ale gdybym zdowbył gdzieś system Crows do abramsa w 1/72 to chętnie bym sklecił tego którego mam jako polskiego.
Mate, Your model of the Aussie Abraham's is outstanding!! Would you please let me know, where all your photo etched parts came from. Keep up the great work, and maybe if you have time add a parts used to your posts. Keep safe. Jon.
Love it my Brother, it’s so good seeing some Aussie Armor on UA-cam 👍🏻🇦🇺
I wish more people would pick this subject, this camouflage just begs for more scale representations.
Greetings my friend, that was a absolutely outstanding build and painting job on the Abrams, your weathering was also done perfectly, you now have another subscrber, congratulations on a job well done, bedt regards from a Kiwi living in Australia
Thank you very much I'm glad you liked the video, thank you for subsribtion! Best wishes, Szymon
A excellent video ... very well done step by step👍😊 Nice shading and an very professional and sophisticated final Reveal ... thanks for sharing and congratulations on this excellent result👍A big hug, cheers Markus
Thank you so much for kind words, I appreciate it a lot! Best wishes, Szymon
Your result is excellent and a masterful work. The video shows the way there very clearly and is a great tutorial for anyone who wants to achieve such a model. Everything is perfectly coordinated and is in no way inferior to the videos from other model builders. Top! 👍 Best wishes and a good weekend. Joachim
Thank you Joachim. I've put a lot of effort to make the video as concise as posibble, I'm glad you liked it! Best regards, Szymon
Amazing build video...
fajnie ze nowy film jest
Nice to see how the Abrams has developed into a great model thanks to your meticulous work. With the changes and the PE parts you have brought the model to a high level. Very nicely detailed and the two machine guns are really something special. Great job, Szymon. Best wishes and a good weekend. Joachim
Thanks Joachim, I thougt i would be satisfied with this kit out of the box but I just couldn't resist. I've already started working on the second part including painting, I hope It will take me less time to make than usully. Best regards, Szymon
Excellent work Szymon. I do get the feeling the Flyhawk 1/72 kit is even better than this one. Though you have really made it your own.
Thank you, I get this feeling too, the flyhawk 1/72 scale model is much better detailed kit than this one, espescially if you look at the handels, the sprocket wheels or if you consider that Flyhawk includes pe meshes for turret baskets from the start. But it must be also noted that Hauler PE set solves almost all of these problems so in opinion it's a must-have for this model. Anyway, I have the Flyhawk Abrams waiting for me and I hope I'll be able to start it this year.
@@modelownik1235 I can assure you that you are going to love it. Just mind the tracks. Mine went on really well but that’s because I knew I had to watch the instructions. The PE set makes a world of difference here and I like the camouflage you have chosen as well. Happy modeling my friend. Cheers, Any.
@@anyblunder6782 I think the tracks won't be a problem for me becouse I already bought a resin replacements from Armory, they're looking great and I just couldn't resist. Best regards, Szymon.
@@modelownik1235 thanks for the tip. I still have an ESCI Abrams.
what pe set u used?
I've used PE set from part P72-146 designed for Su-122 from Unimodels, you can see it here on the video 1:24
Really nice result my friend. 👏👏You are in on the Heavy Armour GB which I am taking part in. Subbed. 👍👍
Thank you very much!
Świetne, po prostu świetne. Twoje prace są po prostu piękne, zarówno pod względem czystość ich wykonania, jak i efektu końcowego. Zostaje tu na dłużej i czekam na nowe filmy 😉.
Dziękuję bardzo!
Very smart, I like the idea of returning to projects, great accessories and I love the suitcase!
I very rarely comlete a model from start to finnish in one go, most of my projects await for a long time untill I decide to finally finish them. But projects like this one are a proof that eventually I'll get them done.
@@modelownik1235 nice yea that’s the key as long as it’s finished I am very similar. got lots of builds about to drop so stay tuned!
🤝👍⚒👏
It has become a beautiful model. I really like the way you build. Almost like in a meditative state of mind. The birch logs look real with their moss and wire. I’d really like to know where you got the machine gun PE set. I could use that myself. The weathering is top notch, perfect job. Many kind regards, Any.
Hi Any, thank you very much. I must admit that it's nat always so relaxing, espesially when i break something by accident or my camera stops working as intended, but for the most of the time building and painting models is extramly relaxing for me. I will send you a link to the Maxim PE set on your e-mail. Best regards, Szymon.
@@modelownik1235 well, we all know that. Looking for that part that fell to the floor and is always in the least expected place isn’t relaxing for me either. Still I’m very zen in my hobby and you look like that too. Thank you for the link, the parts are in my wish list. Kind regards, Any.
Świetny storage, uwielbiam ten model
Dzięki!
Hi Szymon. A nice video with a complete description and presentation of your work steps. Very well and competently executed. Congratulations. The SU-85 turned out great and the detailing is superb. A great model, especially when you consider that this is in 1/72 scale! I'll send you an email about a new Group Build soon. Should be go from November to February. Maybe it fits and you are interested and also have the necessary time. In any case, all the best with all your things. Greetings, Joachim
Thank you Joachim, I'm very intrested in the new group boild, Any Blunder mentioned it today in a conversation with me under one of his videos. I would love to take part in it and I think I might have the neccesary time during the cristmas and winter break. Best regards, Szymon.
Very nice SU- 85 and a good paintjob 💪 1:72 scale rules 😎
Thanks, i agree, the 1/72 is the best scale!
i had waited new video for half a year. Didn't regret at all. But headlight looks a little simple compare to the model.
Thank you. Yes I agree that the headlight could look better and this is something i must practise a little, it was extreamly tricky to cut a circular lense and to attach it to the model without spilling any glue or paint on it, i could have also drilled ithe inside of the lamp a little better. Thanks for pointing it out to me.
Nice one, cracking job!
Thanks!
Great job👍👍👍
Thanks!
Nice work!
Thanks!
Hippity hoppity This model is my property
It's OUR model comrade.
Very nice build. This guy speaks english better than a lot of American friends of mine......................
Thank you, years of education paid off. :)
🤝👌👍
why did you choose the zvezda kit? You could have saved so much work and time by just buying a dragon kit for example. The Zvezda T34 is one of the worst detailed model I have seen and never finished it because of that.
I don’t agree. Zvezda has the best T-34 model on the market. Dragon on the other hand is the worst choice. I’ve built a dragon model once, and it requires much more work to be built into decent model then I’ve spent on the zvezda model. The model itself is not only expensive but also has many issues, here’s a couple of them: Wrong turret geometry Solid holes in wheels Wrong tracks pattern Rubber tracks Ugly And wrong driver hatch Overscaled details No welds detail Incorrect shape of the rear plate The zvezda kit has only those problems: Simplified detail on turret top and gun mantlet Solid exhaust Undersized driver periscopes All the other things I’ve did like adding texture, metal parts and metal gun barrel are modifications that both kits require so I haven’t listed them here. I also need to mention that I’m comparing Zvezda 5001 and Dragon 7595, which represents the same version of the vehicle.
I think you did a wonderful job. You took a very basic model and detailed it in a way many larger scale builders would envy. The tracks might still benefit from the superb tracks from GasHans for the Zvezda T34. OKB also has great road wheels for the T34 family that would go well with this kit. I also contributed to this GB with a Jackson tank hunter. It’s great fun to have buddies to build with. I’ve been building 1/72 kits for many years and still learn some things by watching your video. It is highly educational and very inspiring. Many kind regards, Any.
Thank you very much! I agree, there are areas where this model can be upgraded even further. I’ve ordered few sets from gas has last week and I’m currently waiting for delivery. I must mention that zvezda tracks are really good though, I like their kits mainly because usually they don’t require aftermarket tracks. On the other hand, tracks from gash and are pre shaped, so It’s a great time saver considering the way I usually glue the whole suspension of T-34 based tanks. The wheels from OKB are something I’m already using, I’ve made myself a stock of their spider-type T-34 wheels. I love participating in group builds because they give me motivation to build new models in shorter time than usually. Because of studies and work I don’t always have time to spent on modelling, that’s because average amount of time it takes me to build a model is few months. For example it took me 8 months to build my T-34 from start to finish including painting and weathering. Thanks a lot for your comment. Best regards, Szymon.
@@modelownik1235 well, you are very good at what you do. Especially in our small scale. There aren’t many Braille scale modelers around who work in such exquisite detail. As you construct your drive train the way you do for painting GasHans came to mind. Might be a great time saver. I used OKB tracks and wheels on my Dragon T34. Joachim gave me the wheels as a gift. The final results you can see in my video but I thought it really made a positive change. Dragon tracks were not that good. I have yet to try a Zvezda kit but your videos certainly got me interested. I don’t have to study anymore and am largely retired. Only my health slows me down from time to time. I think it is great to see a young person like yourself being so creative. I wonder if in due time you will start to add figures and dioramas to your creations. They are in itself tiny works of art so there is no need. I just am curious about what you will do next 😃. I must also compliment you on your excellent video presentation. I would be terrible filming my builds, unless anyone is interested in me gluing my fingers with superglue or spending an hour under the desk looking for that part that got away. In fewer words; me clumsy. My videos don’t last longer than three minutes max and that’s even stretching it. Keep up the good work, Any.
You did a really good job on this one in the GB.
Thanks! You also did a great job on the Napoleonic artillery, a very unusual and interesting topic!
@@modelownik1235 thank you, not my usual subject but great fun nonetheless.
Hi Szymon, a stunning build with a lot of exciting extras and updates ... the 1:72 kit looks now like 1:35 scale!!! ... a very nice Video too ... i´m thinking since more than a year about such a video for my own channel but was not able to execute one jet ... but ... the future is unwritten ;-) ... happy modelling my friend, a big hug, cheers Markus
Thank you very much Markus. I would love to watch this kind of tutorial like video from you. It's of course a very time consuming process, but It's also very satisfying and this is the way I always wanted to make modelling videos, to show the whole process of building and painting a model, not only the effects. I also wish you lots of fun with modelling, Szymon.
An excellent video about your work on the SU-122. Very nicely done with good explanation and presentation of the work steps. A video as a tutorial in the professional field. Zvezda's SU-122 has become a wonderfully improved model. Your work was worth it. Best wishes and a good week, Szymon. Joachim
Thank you very much Joachim, Also thank you for the invitation to the groupbuild, it was a great opportunity to add antother model of the Su family to my collection, now I just need to paint it. Have a nice week too, Szymon
If you did a model of Js/is-2 1/72 by zvezda only with handmade stuff , I will kiss you in ass my sweety
I haven't done it yet, but zvezda's Is-2 is one of the models I plan to build, and seeing how little aftermaket upgrades there is for this vechicle, upgrading it with scratch-build parts seems like a good idea for one of my future builds.
Witam! Właśnie sklejam SU-100 ze Zvezdy i planuję się zabrać za tego SU-122.
