3/4" RapidAir Quick Overview
This is my quick 2 cents on the air system. do as much assembly in a vise as possible, cranking those fittings overhead while fighting the hose isn't exactly easy.

Speed Dial Combo Reset With Master Lock
Переглядів 54 тис.6 років тому
Here I demonstrate an easy way to reset unknown and known combinations on Master Locks Speed Dial Lock. Please use this entertained information within legal limits.
Looks like a Light bulb controller.
I am wondering how you got the cover off. Seems to be the tricky part for me. A video would be great?
What is the stuff that keeps the battery in place?
On the inside
its a double stick tape that has a foam core. the battery's themselves usually have heat shrink and fish paper for protection and isolation
I purchased a rad with this mod. How do I get the battery to turn on. It shows power when the x260 is connected to charger but then plug back to motor and nothing
I'd need to know how it was wired to answer your question. When I do mods like these I bypass the on/off switch so the battery is always live. If the BMS has ports for the switch I'll leave it. if it's a key type switch they can just be unplugged or shorted depending on the type of switch to accomplish this (internally).
Thank you you safe me to buy another lock ❤
Thanx bud, it worked.👍👍👍
This might sound like a dumb question for you but what does modding it with this connector do. What will be its function
several benefits, mainly getting an otherwise functional battery back into service. Now its more "versatile" as most aftermarket and replacement battery's use an XT60 or XT 90 connector. Now its hot-swap-able or you can even run more than one battery at a time (in parallel) to extend range. This particular battery is in service for a pedicab company and they run through 3 battery's per event so the ability to hot swap is important
Great, thank you
nah yall lying there aint no way your going to be able to take off that first big screw with "a little bit of pressure" and a flathead screwdriver I put on so much pressure that when the driver slipped a little the casing on the top bit broke off. how the hell did you do it.
I have to make this adjustment why can't you make a video how to connect the wires safely without getting shocked...
its DC, you might see sparks but its not likely to shock you. the major risk is shorting the battery when the cables are bare. I just solder one wire at a time and heatshrink it before moving onto the next wire. for reference this guy shocks himself for fun and the video is of his tongue in stead of fingers but you might get an idea of shock ua-cam.com/video/hp97GjuULX8/v-deo.html and this one might be more relevant to your specified fear ua-cam.com/video/snk3C4m44SY/v-deo.html I have an aventon battery that needs this same mod, IF I can film it then I'll post it but big if.
Nice review... much appreciated...
How the hell did you get that security screw out!?
Thank you - just did this and opened mine. Hello from Sri Lanka
Note that you can make this combination as long as you want. My own lock is 12 directions long, almost nobody is gonna be able to guess that. Just don't make it too long because the longer it is the tighter the tolerances get for entering the combination, resulting in a lower chance of opening it with the correct combination - at least in my experience. I'd say maybe 15-18 directions is a good limit, maybe.
Can I send you my battery to fix it
I would be happy to take on this project. Shipping is tricky and costly. By the time you shipped it both ways and I fixed it you could have bought a new one, maybe two from the MFG. I plan on releasing more battery videos soon with diagnostic steps.
how do you get it open? after removing all the screws i still can't get it open. I don't know where to pry the shell open. Please help us out.
Did you find out how you open it
@@murtadhaal1483 No i didn't. i'm still looking for answers. I did find out that it' probably stuck because they used RTV silicone glue. How do you get it loose when it's stuck? i have no idea😭 lol
Mine just came apart, no fuss. Some batteries are glued in but not the cover. If you do need to pry, do so carefully and with PLASTIC tools. If you skip and puncture a cell with a metal tool you will cause a short and a fire.
Hi, How did you open the battery case? I've unscrewed all the screws, but nothing changed. Is it glued also? What tools did you use? Thanks
i also can't figure out how to open mine. all the screws are out but can't get it open😭.
Mine just came apart, no fuss. Some batteries are glued in but not the cover. If you do need to pry, do so carefully and with PLASTIC tools. If you slip and puncture a cell you will cause a short and a fire. I use an auto panel tool kit that has a bunch of shapes and bicycle tire levers or a spudger depending on the shape that I feel would best help me.
Hey did you ever get jt to come apart?
This is something I will download, if I ever order a new bike. Very professional. Kind of intimidating. Maybe I don’t need a new bike, after all.
I wonder if its possible to replace the connector on another battery, with one compatible with my Rad Rail... You showed that pin component being just a little pop out, off to google, If I can get a cheaper after market battery, i can replace its connector with a rad-style one. Do you by chance know the "name" or part number of that style 5 pin (2 in use) connector?
Glad to have helped! Most common terminal mod is to dfewlete the OEM connector and run XT60 or XT90. I would hit up ebay for a dead battery case only for the series your looking to hotswap into and switch the parts you need. good luck
Excellent tip on using a hose clamp on PCS-9.2. Please do consider placing a strip of a rubber from used tube or something under for better grip and prevent scratching.... if so desired. What Park Tool did with 9.3 model is simply added a spring button to where you have placed the clamp to prevent from sliding and causing stand to fall/collaps under load.
Forgive me I'm a noob. Why does it only show 24v? Thanks
This battery was really low, the multi meter was just to prove that it had an output. the battery is rated as a 48V 672WH, with these specs the max charged voltage is 54.6v and the recommended minimum is 39v. this battery was definitely abused by its owner (not I) but that's the pedicab life for ya.
Can you draw more then 40amps from this battery with that new plug?
Linda bike como eu faço pra ganhar ela
your closes dealer appears to be in the heart of london www.linusbike.com/pages/locate-a-dealer
Thanks, mine didn't have the burned connector, but I used your video to change the Rad connector to a XT90. Now I can use duall batteries for a 90+ mile range.
glat to have helped, I'm working on a bosch and some other brand ebike battery videos coming soon
I cannot remove the middle screw. It just kept on getting stripped 😭😭😭
if you have no luck, maybe drill off the head? then once the back plate is off you should be able to use pliers to get the screw unthreaded and replace it.
I got to say that Master fast speed lock is a piece of junk I did everything you say in the strip the screws got it open nothing seem to work I threw the lock out what a piece of crap
That doesn't work what if you have one that's already locked I just want to open it I don't want to take it apart on my shot with the lock I forgot the combination how do I open it without all that stuff
I havent found a way to pick it other than take the back off, its like 3 screws and its easy enough to get access to.
I have this lock and absolutely love it it's so fast
where did you get the middle screwdriver bit?
I have an "iFix it" tool kit that has most everything for electronics www.amazon.com/iFixit-Manta-Driver-Kit-Piece/dp/B07BMM74FD/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=fixit+tool+kit&qid=1647897226&sr=8-4
How well has this bike held up? Any issues with quality on the frame, paint or fixtures?
Linus is a good "bang for the buck while being pretty" bike company. they include touchup paint and ours is doing well. We have changed a few components out as would be expected, like seat and rack and added a baby trailer so will be reducing the chainring by 2 teeth here shortly.
@@rhodesahead4204…. Thanks. I’m getting one soon. A gift maybe unwanted but part of my life. 😊
Might have been a good video if you made it in the daytime. Pffft.
is only for woman?
the Mixte was designed to be a unisex frame. Also, the bicycle industry has stepped away from being gender specific. Hope that helps.
I'm an employee at a room escape cafe in Korea. Can you tell me what kind of driver the screw in the back of the direction lock is opened with? I'd be so grateful if you told me.
One Way Screws (sometimes called Irreversible Screws or One Direction Screws) for the central screw. The other 2 screws take a triangular driver.
Very helpful! Thank you so much
dude..I can't overlook that rusted chain. did you find that bike in a junk yard?
this video took place at our local nonprofit.
Go remove the rust for him then you'll be happy
Nice fix. Found a brand new one in package at a yard sale today. Lady gave it to me for free because she lost combo now I will be able to use it.
Sir, is it possible to ship to India? I love it so much. Can i get the price quote?
I am glad you are excited to ride bikes! The bad news is that the availability is minimal. As a shop, we are lucky to even get bikes these days. Since you live in India I would look towards your local bicycle stores for bikes and be patient. I can only imagine it's equally as difficult to obtain bikes there as here. I am not sure either if Linus supports international sales. It might be worth checking out a different brand like Gazelle. If a linus is what you desire and you are willing to pay for shipping I am sure our store can help you with your dream, once they are back in stock. in a lot of cases it's cheaper to fly back and forth and bring a bike as luggage. good luck!
@@rhodesahead4204 thanks for your response sir.....seems like I am more closer owning it.... Yes, I believe it won't be easy for international sales via shipping....but I love the design so much......so pure, simple, and eye catching.....
Nice video! Im trying to decide between park tool and feedback
For portable, I like feedback stands. EVT strands are what I prefer for a shop environment. Good luck
I use the Park Tool PCS 10.2, trust and never had an issue…. 🇺🇸
I bought a new lock snd it won’t open with combination
I would try exchanging it for a new one or taking it apart as demonstrated
how to unscrew this middle screw is unusual
I can assume you can't get the middle screw out, I used a good standard screwdriver and a lot of pressure so as to not slip. hope this helps, best of luck!
awesome! thanks so much! can you help with Bose speakers not loud enough with my new DJ style turntable? Someone said I HAVE to have a receiver...
I grew up wiring stages but never really took to sound engineering, To me it sounds as if you might consider an amplifier if volume is what you are after. Maybe when it's safe, go to a local club and ask the DJ to give you some pointers? or volunteer for a few nights... best of luck
Which clamp do you prefer?
To be honest I prefer the EVT clamp as its more compact (not in this video, and can be adapted to some Park stands). I have been using Park for the past 10+ years so I might be a bit biased, however the Feedback Sports clamp does offer a good per bike tension system but is a bit slow for me. ... If you go to a few of your LBS they might let you test theirs out, especially if you bring treats (cough beer cough).
@@rhodesahead4204 I ended up with a Park 4.2, Thanks tho!
A very useful video. Only facts! Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for this! Tremendously helpful when I (read: my husband) built my Linus Pronto. The checks at the end are especially helpful.
would be happy to answer any questions you might have about your Linus (my shop is a dealer)
Why didn’t you put the fenders on? Great video!
thanks, I personally don't like the amount of wind they pickup. if it's nasty out we probably aren't riding anyway.
Trust me this worked for me, im not even getting paid to say this. Fuck i cant believe it actually worked thanks loads man. My lock has been locked for over 5 years now. Finally unlocked it pfffff
Glad to be of assistance, thanks!
On the PCs- 9.2 I don't think you need to over tightening that bottom clamp. That's probably why it has stripped the threads on it. Hand tight is enough. Replace with seat post quick release. Sorted.. Regards
Thanks for the comment, we leave a community stand in front of our shop so I’m not sure who actually broke it but that does sound like a good idea.
I ride a Linus single speed coaster brake bike. Great product!
Where are you located?
omg genius!
