DIY Air Cleaner and Dust Collector Cabinet
Thanks for watching. This was my attempt at reducing the noise generated by my dust collector while using the same cabinet as an air cleaner. I didn’t add all the details to keep the video short. The air cleaner has 2 stages and works well. Noise from the dust collector has also been reduced. Having dedicated switches really adds to the convince and usability of this unit. Please ask any questions you have and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

DIY Pizza Peel
Переглядів 738Рік тому
Thanks for watching. When I have scrap material left over from other projects I try to make use of it as best I can before it moves to the burn pile. Today I decided to make a few pizza peels. If you enjoy making pizza at home, a peel is a great tool to have. This is a pretty simple to do project and didn’t take much time. In this case I’m using Hard Maple and Walnut, but you can use just about...
DIY Ferret house with a running wheel

Thanks for watching. This is a build video of the ferret habitat/house I created for my daughter and her ferrets. MDF is my choice of material which is painted with lacquer. The interior of the cabinet uses zero VOC latex paint. Please like and subscribe and ask any questions you have.
Delta Dust Collector Repair
Переглядів 1,5 тис.2 роки тому
Thanks for watching. The capacitor in my Delta AP400 failed and this video show you how to replace it. The stock model was 50uf 250 volt AC and I replaced it with a 55uf 250 volt AC model. These are non polar capacitors so no worries about connecting them backwards. Please, only do electrical work if you have a clear understanding of the job in front of you. I’m not responsible for any injuries...
DIY Coat Rack Tree
Переглядів 9762 роки тому
Thanks for watching. This is a coat rack tree inspired by one seen on The Ted Lasso show from Apple TV . I found a manufacturer of possibly the same product from centuryhouseinc.com . I don’t know if they are the original designers of this coat rack however. It’s made from 3/4” MDF and was fairly easy to build. Please like and subscribe. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks,

8” Skar Audio sub box with flared port
Переглядів 1,1 тис.3 роки тому
Thanks for watching. This is a sub box I built for a friend of mine. The sub is a Skar Audio ZVX-8 D4. The cabinet was designed using Bass Box Pro 6 and is 1.1 ft3, currently tuned to 40Hz. The flared port is adjustable so we can finish tuning it at a later date. Because the build was just for fun, I named the box Sh!ts & Giggles. I hope to bring you the testing and finishing of the cabinet in ...

Thanks for watching. My family needed a little extra storage for our main closet with easy access. I decided to make a cabinet using MDF and Walnut sheets. This is how I built it. Please ask any questions below and I’ll get to you as soon as I can.
The Ultimate hidden door latching system.
Переглядів 17 тис.3 роки тому
Thanks for watching. I’ve had requests to show how the latch on my hidden door was built. In the video I take what I built years ago apart and try to show how it works. I’m using a standard door handle on the inside to make this easy to use and retain the door lock. Please any questions you have and I’ll try to get back to you.
DIY Pex Air Line system in my garage.
Переглядів 21 тис.3 роки тому
Thanks for watching. I wanted to show how easy it is to build an air line system using PEX. This is a very basic system but you can get as creative or complicated as you like. I’m happy to say the system has been leak free and only took a few hours to complete. Please like and subscribe. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
DIY Tablet Mount/Entertainment Station for my Tesla Model 3
Переглядів 1,5 тис.3 роки тому
Thanks for watching. Here is build of the Entertainment Station I built for the rear of my Tesla Model 3. This will come in handy when we take long trips. This Station is easily removed and is totally wireless. I also added a Bluetooth transmitter so multiple passengers can listen while I drive and listen to my own music. The entire build only took 2.5 hours if you don’t include drying time. I ...
DIY Tesla RFID Key Ring
Переглядів 51 тис.3 роки тому
Thanks for watching. I wanted to create a ring that would act as a key for my car. I’ve seen them selling online but I thought I could make one for less and possibly even better. I purchased a ring blank from Amazon and one of my key cards from Tesla. Hope you enjoy. Ask any questions you have and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
DIY Concrete Countertop, Workbench.
Переглядів 1,6 тис.3 роки тому
Thanks for watching. This is the process I used to create a concrete workbench for my garage. I’m using a pour in place method which is very DIY friendly. You could get this type of project done in a day if needed. The concrete used is Rapid Set Mortar available at many hardware stores. Please ask any questions below and I’ll tell to them as quickly s I can.
DIY Curb Rash repair and wheel refinishing with spray cans. Make your wheels look like new.
Переглядів 5 тис.3 роки тому
Thanks for watching. This was my process for repairing and refinishing a set of 20” Tesla Turbine Wheels using Dupli-Color spray cans. The process is the same for many wheels. This job was done over two days and requires only basic power tools. Please ask any questions you like and I’ll respond as quickly as I can.

Patterned Plywood Charcuterie board and Cutting board
Enjoyed it, thank you.
My fiance has this exact subwoofer, and i'm trying to build him a box. What are the dimensions of your box?
@@skylerkrisan-pn6gb sorry, I didn’t keep the drawing for this box.
Right now, an actual smart ring or bracelet is less than $100 bucks. No need to MacGyver it. Still a cool video.
@@jas8238 this cost me $30 Canadian and I can make it look anyway I like. If you’re willing to take the 15 minutes to make one, go for it. If not, buying one works too. Good idea either way.
I would love to do this for my grand Cherokee but what work around do you have for the lost feature, the power trunk feature the auto start and the lock and unlock from a distance
@@kaasym1 I’m not familiar with your jeep, but this is really just for any RFID features. In my case lock/unlock and starting the car.
Thank you very much, for the idea. I have a question, do you remembet the dimension of the mini chip? I will buy a ring (channel & ceramic must ı understand) but ı dont want to sand the chip. 4mm or 6mm or 8mm ❓ Thanx
@@odabasimuzikokuluizmirkars2180 the more room you have the better. Mine measures just under 5mm.
@@humandoing9675thank you for the answer🙏🙏🙏 Then 6mm will be ok
bummer you have to take the ring off to use it.
@@TimGray you don’t have to take it off. But I do prefer to.
Can I get the dimensions of the Wolfram build please sir
@@joshuamelvin2921 unfortunately I didn’t keep them. Sorry
Would epoxy work better?
@@lowspeed2000 it possible? The reason I picked CA glue was because of how thin it is. It goes deep into the veneer and is easy to repair. It also dries clear.
@@humandoing9675 great tip to get the thinner CA.
Dumb
To each their own. I’ve enjoyed having it.
Why would you.... It's actually not dumb, and even if it was... why be that mean person?
I finally found this video! I saw a short clip and never saved it. Great idea btw!
Thank you
Awesome job but I think I would just pay the $60 to buy one🤷🏻♂️. Thats a lot of work.
I can make the pretty quickly and it’s fun. To each their own.
can you make a credit card as well with the same method?
If it uses a similar chip and antenna, I don’t see why not.
Great video, thanks for doing that. You mentioned you could recommend the touch up paint color if we didn’t want to paint the whole rim? What do you suggest?
Testors model enamel matches well. Silver colour. Cheap and works well.
@@humandoing9675 Great..how long did this process take you for the 4 wheels?
@@richardhui3810 a couple hours.
This is awesome!! Do you think you could do the same thing but have two Tesla rfid’s on the same ring? Would they interfere with each other?
I’m not sure if two would work together. But…..you can program multiple cars with one ring already.
Cool stuff!
Do you know of this will work with a BMW card?
I’m not sure, but if the card is built the same way, I see no reason it wouldn’t.
This is exactly what i was looking for! The spring on the back is the perfect solution for my problem. Question: to get the original door to pivot correctly, did you remove it from its hinges? Im assuming the pivot hinges are attached to the bookcase itself, and as im working out my own door solution, my brain says the pivot point would cause the original door hinges to cause a clashing pivot point. Maybe I'm overthinking, but yours is the first ive seen with the original bathroom door intact, which is what im trying to figure out.
Glad this helped you. I’m not using standard hinges, just the knife hinge on the bottom and a guide pin on top. You can get them from LeeValley. The hinges are attached to the door. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Would I be able to purchase the .25 inch door hindge from you? Exact same one you have in the video for connects the Trigger to the door hardware?
You can buy it from LeeValley. Look up Murphy door hardware. $199 in Canada currently.
Could you show how you mounted the dust collector to the wall. Thanks
You get a better view of how the dust collector is mounted in my air cleaner video. It basically just a board with holes for the inlet and the collection bag (which is now sealed off). Let me know if you need more details.
Hi bud, did you use pex A or pex B . Thanks mate ☺️👍
I used Pex B.
How well did it hold up in the shop environment? Thinking of doing one in my shop but concerned upbout longevity in garage. Thanks
It’s still almost as good as new. Just one small stain from a car cleaning product. No cracking issues at all.
Cool idea but for vehicles like model 3 and model y you would need the tesla card to be able to drive the vehicle. Nonetheless cool idea to open the door
That isn’t correct. The ring works as a key for all functions. It’s my back up key and comes in handy.
that's what liquid is used to dissolve the card?
Acetone
Hallo i am from indonesia Can it be applied to emoney cards?
@@fendiprastyawan I can’t sat for sure, but I suspect and RFID chip can be made into a ring.
May I ask what solvent did you use to dissolve that plastic card?
Acetone.
@@humandoing9675 Thank you!
CA for the finish was surprising, never seen that done👍 Alternatively, a UV cured resin (this resin only gets hard when exposed to UV light...sunlight works, but takes a little longer). Using wood veneer was inspired! I've wanted to try this type of thing, for a different application, but didn't want to see the chip and antenna wire, in the ring. Thanks for posting this!
How would you wrap resin around the ring though? I have little knowledge about resin
You are my new hero !!!
Lol, thanks
I wish I could purchase yours! I just got one in the oak color. Yours looks a bit more substantial and stylized. Great job.
Thank you.
Nice job, I got the 19" silver sportwheel on my model 3. Could you please share the spray paint and touch up products that will match the wheel? That would be so good. I got some touch up to do but I think a little spray touch up will look better.
If you have stock wheels in the same colour as mine, the best touch up paint I’ve used it made by Testor. It’s normally used for models. Metallic Silver Matches well.
Do you have to take the ring off to use it?
No, but I find it more convenient to remove the ring.
All that effort to then have to take the ring off 😂😂😂 bro use the phone!
You don’t have to take it off, but I find it easier. Up to the user. Keep in mind, it’s my back up key.
Very nice work 🤙🏾
Thank you
Great !! thanks alot, but If i buy any NFC ring, will it work ? Or there’s some security?
You need a Tesla chip. Others don’t work.
Why no shut off valves anywhere in the system?
If it was a larger or more complex system I’d add them, but as it stands, I didn’t think they were needed.
good job!
Thank you
Your book to open your secret door, where you put your finger on, is dirty, and it is "floating" in the air..... easy to find out which book to use.
I can tell you from experience, you cannot tell which book to use. Only after using it can you see it.
I've wanted to do this for so long.
It’s a fun door to have. Great for conversations.
Have you fixed the shelves to the existing door or did you have to build a new one?
@@saml2145 fixed the shelves?
Thank you for taking time to share this videos with us. 👍
Will this work with metal ring blank?
Not from what I’ve tried.
Dislike for the tesla wall
Lol. I’m not trading it in any time soon.
Excellent instructional video. Well done! 🏆
Thank you
So I just tried it didn’t work my theory is the metal is disturbing the signal …. Found the answer to it tungsten/Karmic is not disturbing the signal but some metals do
I’ve made mostly ceramic rings. all have worked. No luck with metal. I’ve even made bracelets from wood which also worked well.
How do I subscribe
You just tap the subscribe icon and you’re done.
could you show us the whole setup for that hidden door? Hinges, spacing, etc
I don’t think I’ll make another video on the door but you can ask any questions you like. I’m using a knife hinge on the bottom and a pin on top. Spacing is 1/4” on the hinge side and 1/2” on the latch side.
مرحباً احتاج الى رابط شراء الخاتم والاسيتون. لأنني سأقوم باستنساخ تجربتك بنفس الخطوات.
What if you used a gold ring. Gold is a superconductor. I would assume it could assist in acting like an antenna
All the metal rings I’ve tried have failed. I don’t think the antenna wire is coated so the metal surface messes it up.
"PromoSM"
Great job and thanks for sharing!
This does NOT work with a 4mm channel ring, once you shave off a "few THOW" it renders the chip to not work. I had to use an 7mm inlay ring for mine.
I included details on the ring blank that I used. 4mm channel. No issues with mine. I’ve made several now, all good. A larger channel will allow you to skip a step, but either should work.
Cool project…. Do you have any videos of you dust collection? I think I have the same Delta unit and am intrigued with what you did…
I’m working on one right now. Will upload as soon as I can.
@@humandoing9675 awesome, look forward to it
