Will CP3 start even a question? Does the sun rise in the East? Bring in Castle when the opposing backcourt needs to be shut down defensively. CP3 and Wemby are going to be busy breaking scoring and assist records including a ton of assists for Vassell and Barnes when the other team tries to double up on Wemby.

This team will make major strides for one reason, less turnovers. Adding Chris and Harrison will drastically lower their turnovers and that alone will turn last years close losses into close wins.

We have to improve in many areas including our defense and consistency as a whole not just a Robin. I’m from the Jordan era. His Robin Pip never averaged over 21ppg next to MJ, Vassell is capable of that right now. We’re missing experience, chemistry, multiple defensive menaces and role player dominance which the team is working on building right now.

Wendell Carter would be a good trade target. He’s done well guarding bigs like Jokic

I think he could be the next George Hill, High IQ and athletic

Castle adds much needed ball handling also, he can dribble and pass with both hands, definitely the Spurs most talented guard in years! The defense, that changes everything at the guard position, someone that can trickle down weaker defenders. If he pans out as a point guard, that will be great, a 6'5.5" (NBA Combine) point in the modern NBA!

But to be MIP from *21.4/10.6/3.9 + 3.6BLK + 1.2 STL* it would need to be fringe MVP too Something like above 30+ppg/12+ reb/ 5+ assists and same or better D. *IMO He was already to good his Rookie season to aim for MIP next season*

Because of Wemby, the spotlight is on every team that plays them; every single game. So teams and players are already bringing their best effort when they play against the Spurs.
