Cynthia Rothrock is an good fighter.

0:43-0:53 this shows why Hong Kong action film were miles ahead of their American counter parts. This small section alone, shows a extremely well choreographed fight scene at high speed and the audience are able to follow it, through out the fight it's edited cleanly so you're not lost. With a Hollywood film, you'd have multiple cuts and fast forward to films like Jason Bourne with it's shaky camera work and cuts every 2 seconds, it looks like it film by a amateur in comparison.

Fighting two sword wielding women with nothing but gauntlets? Pretty bad ass...

The choreographer for this movie was Alex Leung (梁小熊). I think he does a brilliant job - particularly in the opening fight with Cynthia using spear against double tonfas. Very creative, deep understanding of movement. He is possibly best known for his work on Monkey Kung Fu for Shaw Brothers (1979), and much later as Action Director for Ip Man (2008).
