I decided to renovate my first prom dress that I made myself. it had a really simple design but I loved it. it also has a lot of wonderful memories to go with it. I decided to spice it up by using paint and beads and glue.

I used fabric that I found in the scraps section at Hobby lobby for a discounted price to make a double lace-up warrior corset with a skirt. The fabric was a sort of faux leather with a gold diamond pattern and then I also used some old cotton fabric that was a hand me down from my grandma to my mom and then from my mom to me.

Like this video bunches. Though it seems easy to do, I have always had trouble getting the very top of these additions to sew - up right. Would you please make a video showing up - close how you sew the apex of the triangle onto your jeans ? Thank you for sharing this video with us.
Absolutely, it can be a little confusing, but it's worth it in the end.
60 year old Hippie here who remembers patched bell bottoms well - you did such a great job, I love them, especially the first pair. You didn't mention whether you rinsed the bleach out and washed the second jeans before adding the glitter, but I assume so. :) Tip for next time: the music was SO much louder than your voice, so I had to keep turning the volume up and down, so just remember to lower the music volume. Anyway, the jeans turned out fabulous, really neat!

59 yr old hippy here. With the bleach..don't leave on more than 10 mins. It will eat the fabric. Rinse well. Great job 😊
