ShadeTree Certified
Приєднався 11 сер 2011
ShadeTree Certified is a channel I created to share my day to day adventures as a heavy equipment field tech as well as my hobbies like fishing, hunting, doy stuff at home and turning wrenches on my own vehicles. When taking time in the outdoors, mechanicing or just enjoying time with friends, one usually finds a good shade tree to sit under. Hence, the name of my channel. Hope you enjoy watching as much as I enjoy making them. -JS
PIT BOSS PELLET GRILL TROUBLE! NOT LIGHTING? Can it be fixed?
For the first time in 5 years my trusty @PitBossGrills has given me trouble! It turned out being 2 issues. My control board went bad from being stored outside and uncovered for the entirety of my ownership of this unit as well as the igniter going bad. After replacing the igniter, burn pot and controller(with a WiFi upgrade!) I’m back to cooking. Thanks for watching! #bbq #cooking #meat @ThermoPro thermometer helping out too

My link to amazon for this meter I used it below! I get a kickback if you purchase through my link. This loader had a problem with a boom angle sensor and I walk through how to troubleshoot it both through the machine monitor as well as the old school way using a meter. Thanks for watching! Komatsu emissions fault? Use this method to temporarily clear them! #fyp #equipment
Переглядів 59514 днів тому
I describe how to reset the emissions derate on Komatsu equipment for emergency operation. If you have an emission fault preventing full power, you can use this method to temporarily clear active faults in your Komatsu equipment.
EGR failure! Emissions claim another victim. Can I make it run again?

Tier 4 emissions are a part of everyday life for equipment in today’s world. Sometime emissions components fail. Here I have a Komatsu HM300-3 that failed the egr cooler. I outline a quick check on how to diag an egr cooler on a saa6d125 Komatsu/cummins engine and how to repair it! Thanks for watching!
Go buy another throw that in the box there's your new tool Go return the old trash
Yeah man, bought one for an industrial pump job to get in some crevices. Loaded with m12 5.0 high output bat and had the same issue of it randomly slowing down when not under load. Sometimes not even firing up when the triggers pulled. Milwaukees pretty solid on their warranty repairs so I’d recommend sending it in for service
Problem is you should of got a DeWalt
Hahaha, i learned i hated mud as a kid growing up on our farm.
Speed setting three doesn’t do that
Speed setting three doesn’t do that
I have the same tool. I only run a 4.0 battery or higher and never ever had problem on over year and a half. 3.0 is not letting it run at full speed or power !!
Looks like a lemon, it’s bound to happen at some point, have it warrantied, Milwaukee covers the whole process
Mine does it too. I take battery off and on. It works but sometimes it just stops
Me too. Waste of money
Wrong application. Save that cute lil fisher price tool for something small.
Went to change a pony motor on an old D8h at the landfill during the winter. The operator had taken lots of dumps down the side of the motor. We told the city on the way out we'd come back and do the job after they steam cleaned the dozer.
The issue is that Milwaukee is owned by the C C P
My Milwaukee drill does the same thing and I just bought it
Return it and switch to a better brand!
220 for bare tool shts like 160 amazon
I’m a Milwaukee repair tech it’s the defective electronic module. Extremely common in all Milwaukee brushless products. Look up your local shop
How can that be true when mine also did this brand new? Other channels also complain about this
@@BenVanAmburgbecause milwaukee is not what it used to be 10 years ago. Quality is in the toilet on both tjeir tools and especially their batteries. I have m18 batteries from 10+ years ago that are still working but have lost (3) 12ah and (2) 6ah batteries that never made it past 30 charge cycles. Milwaukee would warrany without the lost receipts. Home depot esentially sold me 2 1/2 year old batteries back during covid. Ive since switched over to some Flex and alot of Hercules. Not had a single issue with either brand. Oh yeah...the tools that did get warrantied took 3 months in one case and 4 in the other...the m12 multi tool. I'm done with milwaukee. 20 years ago bosch had some quality/durability issues. I haven't been back to them since either.
LogisticsMGR.... you have my sympathy. Having to work on milwaukee trash must be a very depressing job....
Only thing i can think (other than the tool being defective) is maybe it's too much load for the 3ah battery to take. Try a higher capacity battery pack or maybe a high output. If it's the same then warranty it out. Defects happens and sometimes you're just lucky enough to get one.
Could be a battery issue. Could be a tool issue. Unless you’re pressing down really hard.
Wow somebody that is not intimidated nor afraid to work.
Same with mine. It kicks into protection mode. Anyone that says they don’t have that problem doesn’t use theirs enough. Doesn’t matter what battery you have on it. Cut off wheel is a dud as well. Only complaints I have are these 2 tools in the m12 lineup.
I have a rotary tool and it cuts off too. I smoked my first one and got a new one under warranty. Not impressed but I have a lot of m18 and m12 and that's the only one that I have trouble with.
Get a good set of rain gear, the heavy stuff. I used to wear mine dealing with pipe in mud that would pull your boots off. Worked great
I have for the same thing in feild service! Makes the tarp like a water bed 😁😁😁
Hello its hot ovrheat..🔥
That dozer is begging for steel plates all over it!
Makita is better
Just about everything is better than milwaukee these days....
I have the angled and the straight for years, it's been a game changer for me... Although the smallest large packs I own are 4.0s, I try to run mostly 6.0s in them or even better the couple of 5.0 HO-XCs I own... Unless Milwaukee changed the overload because of too many burnt up units I'd say you may have a lemon... They do perform better with minimal rotating mass, so I usually run a lightweight 2" backer even if I'm using 3" rolock pads... That looks like a pretty unnecessarily heavy 3" backer, which may be the issue if they have upped the cutout when using lower capacity batteries 🤔 Remember brushless motors want to stop when they are getting slow or lose power, but sometimes on pneumatics the heavier backers can help prevent stalling once up to speed... If you get another one or try this one more try a lighter rubber or composite combo backer instead of the big hunk o' rubber 😉👍Hope it works out for you, I love both of mine, and my straight grinder lives with some shape of carbide cutter on it full time, for steel 90% of the time! 🤷♂️
you bought milwaukee what do you expect
Milwaukee Sucks!
Does it do that when it isn't under any load? Can you just hold it and run it and it shuts off?
Only under load
Milwaukee is garbage
Not everyone can afford the best tool brand in the biz. Everything I own is Milwaukee and this is the first complaint I’ve had about a new tool. It’d be fine if it wasn’t $220 but damn. This is some $99.99 performance
Try a different battery I've had a lot of batteries do goofy shit
Tried 2 different brand new xc3.0, a xc5.0 high output and a xc6 high output. Idk what it is. Seems weak
Then I think you've definitely got a lemon, even with the power sucking backing pad... I'd swap it for a new one and definitely use a lighter weight backer, especially if you plan on running mostly 3" stuff... If a 5.0 HO doesn't spin that up then they've changed the circuitry design 😠 (I usually run a composite/rubber 2" backer and 3" rolock flap disks on mine without issues) 👍
Return it bud. Why even make a video 😂?!?! They’ll swap it for a new one and you’ll see it’s just THAT one.
Sounds like you need to find a pressure washer!
Its a Milwaukee thing! Have many Milwaukee tools that do this crap.. hammer drill..impact gun..throw away tools😊
Good luck
Is this Cat years or Dog years?😂
Used to enjoy the same thing helping my daddy and he taught me a lot by the time I was 18 so I wanted to go to school to learn more. He talked me outta it. Idk what he said but whatever he says I usually do it and I'm 35 now and still enjoy working on his stuff with him but after that idgaf about it. And we work in a nice fairly clean garage usually and have the tools we need. I hate having to work on shit on a job in the heat, wet, cold, snowy shit. Winter we do a lot of major things going through his equipment so usually field mechanics is usually minor shit.
Dozers suck complete ass to work on
No issues with mine, warranty process is easy, send it to Milwaukee.
Battery can't handle the current. Usually flashes the lights
Hot chocolate is my sweet spot
Thats a first world problem bro... now cold hot chocolate really bends my blade
Yup same here with wire brush but I noticed load and triger pressure sets it off
now fixing equipment is a chess game because of this one miserable fk
bro why would someone even consider nuts and bolts under what a simple fix was what a prik
A liberal dressed as a mechanic
I didn't like the color of the mud. Deal breaker! Call local towing company with a rotator wrecker. Relocate the piece and work in a dryer location for major repairs.😊
Wow that's crazy I can't believe they wouldn't scrape all that crap out of there and maintain it😂😂😂
Yep I know the feeling I did flooring for about 30 years under houses and doing anything you can think of plumbing remodeling etc😂😂😂 be careful what you ask for you just might get it❤
If that was my machine you are working on, id make sure that you were in a lot better conditions. Mistakes happen when you're cold and wet.
bought it for even a simple task of buffing the inside of a tire for a patch even the slightest pressure they shut off
Oh no lie? I was expecting it to be at least a partial sub to pulling my air out every time need to buff something but if I can’t out any pressure on it I may just return the thing.
Mine from a few years ago works great... Bought the straight too... I only have 4/5/6.0 batteries though... I know for tire patching they make a specific low speed high torque model literally only for patching tires... I think the tool in this video is a lemon, or the 3.0 batteries are junk? 🤷♂️
Suck it up buttercup if you don’t want to mechanic pay the ones who do I love to take your cry money
