You will find all of the products are FREE from: cereals and their by-products, pulses, molasses, preservatives and additives. We cannot give our horses endless plains to roam, but we can help in a small way by feeding them the forages they are so well designed to eat. In return, they are better nourished, more settled and healthier.

does that mean we should discourage yorkshire fog from growing in our paddocks? If so, how
Hi Sandra, we have never known it grow to the exclusion of all else and it is not poisonous. Although not a favoured grass by horses, they do eat it in the end. It grows more when there is less grazing pressure, so it will be put off if grazed a little harder. Improving drainage and soil fertility (spread back the droppings after they have been rotted/composted) will also help put it off. It is a food source for some species of butterflies. Hope this helps.
