I recently visited the website and did not observe any explicit requests for monetary contributions. However, I did notice a plethora of resources and services aimed at assisting veterans in need.

There website seems more about raking in money then helping. Clicked on the help links and got service unavailable. Thanjs for nothing.

Caring for Soldiers means you prepare them for the worst circumstances by holding to very high standards everyday. Caring for subordinate Leaders means allowing them to do their job.

Being numb actually has benefits. Once you learn to master it, you can be more resilient. Nothing bothers you, so you maintain control without emotions clouding your judgement.
