I would give Saleng 8 or 8.5. I think that as a Pirates family, we're a bit hard on Monapule most times.

Chaine was a 6.5/10 for me. He seemed nervous in some instances which led to long balls that landed on opponents heads or feet. He definitely did better in the Chippa game. Ndah as a CB: This man is the Great Wall of Orlando Pirates. 9/10 for me. He is just excellent at his job. He committed brilliant saves. Sesane: 8.5/10 He did much much better in this one than the Chippa one. Composed, worked welll with the team and supplied his forwards. Hotto: 7/10 I want to say he’s much better when he transitions into a winger. It wasn’t his best game and we know how much this man can be a machine. Makhehleni: 6.5/10 solely because he looked much better than Chippa game. Struggled to keep the ball with the duals at times but I could tell he worked hard. Dlamini: 6.5/10 not his best game for me but much better than his fellow 10 uTito. Maswangayi: 5/10 as he struggled with forward passes that led to opportunities. He was truly having an average game. He didn’t enjoy being with Dlamini. Gilberto: 4.5/10 He was slow, didn’t commit relevant passes and when he committed passes, these were thrown to the opponent. The giving the ball away is what concludes the rating. He’s physically strong and didn’t give us that strength in 1v1s. I love how so many people don’t see his game in the same way. I think he needs to learn to play with the team. He created problems for Hotto. More often than not, he wasn’t well positioned to receive passes from Hotto. They should try him in Tito’s position because that wing isn’t working. Mofokeng is effective on that left. Eish Gilberto had so many chances to run forward and finish with a goal and simply gave the ball away 😢. He needs A LOT of coaching. Giving him a 6.5 or 7 would mean he did his job which he didn’t. Saleng: 7/10 For the exact reasons mentioned in this video. Saleng was the difference for us in the end. Remember the opponent planned their game around Saleng and Mofokeng so today he was marked much better than the last game. It’s also important to note the effect of Mofokeng who pulled off that pass. Saleng had a poor game; refused to finish any of his runs but I kept saying we can’t replace him because you never know what he’ll do in the end. Mabasa: Haaa! My guy disappointed me 😿. Mabasa is trying to play deeper to fetch balls because of not receiving but that has created for the wingers to not find him in the box. I know he’s trying to be dynamic but I want him go back to his box playing and wait for supply. He was MUCH than the Chippa game so it will be a 6/10.
