Just completed building a two bedroom cottage in Harare. 42 sq metres. Total cost 5800 dollars. Most builders are exploiting their clients. Its a scam that my contractor calls ignorance fee. Me and my gardener did what is called setting up in 20 minutes. It's just plain common sense. If you know what a rectangle is and you have a set square and you know what diagonal and 90 degrees is you are good to go. It's not rocket science.

For the same reasons l also dont like an open plan it keeps you busy. The kitchen needs to be tidy for an open plan aesthetic to be on point.
