HOW TO REPAIR A CRACKED/BROKEN TAIL LIGHT
Hey guys! So in this video, I do a short little tutorial on how to fixed some small breaks and cracks in a tail light. I scored these sick tail lights for my Genesis Coupe off of Facebook Marketplace for only $50 and was able to easily repair the small damages and get them looking sick again! I hope you enjoy the video and if you do, please leave a like and a comment so that UA-cam will boost this video to more people that may need help repairing their tail light!

Side note to do BEFORE pouring the epoxy into the divots (this info will apply at about the 4 minute mark in the video: Before pouring the epoxy into the divots that you created with the Dremel, I highly advise that you take some fine sandpaper (maybe 800 grit or so) and sand down the inside of the divot/canyon things and get them smooth. Doing this will most likely make the epoxy repair come out a lot clearer and you won't even be able to tell that it was repaired. In my video, I did not think about doing this step at the time, and you can see in the final product that the repair is relatively easy to see. Good luck with the repair and I hope this video and comment helped!

Hello again everybody. It's been quite a while since I've been on here but I'm back for a good reason, which is to hopefully help some of you. In this video, I walk you through how to install Hella Horns on any car (this video is specific to my Genesis Coupe but the same steps SHOULD apply to all other makes and models). The only things I think I forgot to mention were that you are also going t...
Aftermarket Cold Air Intake Install
Переглядів 41 тис.4 роки тому
Hey guys! Today I installed the Cosmo Racing Cold Air Intake on my 2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5i. The install was overall relatively easy, with only a few minor complications. First I'd like to say that I am obviously in no way sponsored by Cosmo Racing (though I wish I was haha) but they did a fantastic job with packaging the product and assisting me with everything very quickly. Huge props to them ...

Quick disclaimer: I know my editing is terrible. I am still learning to use this new software that I am trying out but I still haven't quite gotten the hang of it. Hopefully with practice my skills will improve. Anyways, I'm back! I decided I am going to get back into UA-cam as I realized I enjoy filming and editing and already film and edit a lot of what I do. If you want to keep up with me an...

can this fit on a 2005 impreza outback sport?
How much did this part cost?
i dont remember, a few hundred i think
Are you really a mechanic
Any recommendations for intake on 02 subaru impreza 2.5rs? I can't find anything online.
I know its been a while, but I have the 02 2.5ts and cosmo racing makes one for our car too. I'm debating on getting one soon. Just so you know.
@@shmooperdooperI actually purchased the cosmo one today.
Any idea what the OEM horn frequency is?
The extra hose that connected to the throttle body, what did you do to that hose
You've got no draw vent, what's the point other than sound?
i drilled a bunch of holes into the fake vent in the lower corner of the bumper which led straight to the intake filter. either way there was no point other than looks and sound lol. this intake likely only led to a 2hp gain and a loss of low end torque.
Perform an "Idle Reset Procedure" after doing any kind of work on your air/fuel/fire peripherals. Just google your particular car.
U cn also add oil catch can to improve and minimize that junction
Yo I have the same car and I wanna mod my car but I’m only 16 😭
will this fit a 1.5 r imprezza 2000-2007 ?
Do u still have the extra hose?
throttle re-learn anytime you mess with the throttle body
will it fit a 2010 legacy 2.5i
i made my own cold air intake kit , 2006 impreza non turbo, it runs like shit wont go over 3.5k in overdrive??? i think i need to adjust where my sensor is @ any other ideas???
sounds like it could be some sort of air leak, bad sensor or bad sensor position, or you need a tune. never had any problems like that on the legacy. good luck man
yo i have an 06 legacy, will the hose be next to the throttle body?
it should be
@@tylergrayford8333 appreciate you. still thinking abt trying to find another brand. everyone including you on UA-cam is saying they are missing parts, snd needed to buy stronger clamp and hoses etc. thank you my guy🙏🏼
Watching this to help myself install my SRI
Two questions does it mess with your sensors and also how often do you have to change the air filter? One more question, is it worth it?
i dont have this car anymore so ill go off of memory lol. as far as i remember, it didnt mess with my sensors or throw a check engine code so you should be good there. the oil filter you dont have to change if you just maintenance it with that recharge kit that i talked about in the video. clean and re oil the filter every time you do an oil change and you should be fine. it being worth it is all up to opinion. this car was already slow and so i didnt care about the minuscule power or torque that the intake had an impact on. for me, it just looked a hell of a lot cooler than the oem airbox and definitely sounded cooler too.
@@tylergrayford8333 thanks bud 👍🏼
Would this fit on my 2010 Forester?
honestly not entirely sure. pretty sure the website i got it off of had a list of cars it fits. if your engine bay looks the same, it probably will.
@@tylergrayford8333 okay I’ve been looking for so long can’t find 1 anywhere for my forester it has the same 2.5L as yours
@@tylergrayford8333 found one but out of stock 😩😩
@@PeytonTheDawg123 always seems to be the case nowadays 😭😂 nothing is ever in stock anymore. seems to be slowly getting back to normal tho thankfully 🙏
thank you . they are the only one has air intake for 2.5i.
Make a reving video
need remap after that or something or fit and work ?
Any updates from this mod? I'm installing a similar intake on my 2008 Forester this weekend.
i know it’s probably a little too late but it really didnt do much. it sounded sick but not much power gains.
@@tylergrayford8333 any negative impact? like bad idle, reduced gas mileage or anything of that sort?
@@scorpionbird88 idle was fine. gas mileage may have gone done (probably just from me wanting to hear it so much lol) and i think that was it.
@@tylergrayford8333 did you pop a code because of it? read somewhere that I'll basically put your engine light on from the change
@@scorpionbird88 i dont have this car anymore but i dont think it threw a code.
No test?
More info on the MAF sensor how did it install? Any Check engine light issues?
nope
what lip that on your 05 Subaru ?
i think it was an 05 wrx front lip off ebay
Hey! What did you do to the vacuum hose on the left side of the throttle body? Just block it off? Because i had a p0171 and i doubt it's that hose that cause the problem
Hey this video was very helpful, thank you. I was wondering if you think that a air intake system would work on a 2011 Subaru Impreza sedan 2.5i.
I got a 2011 Subaru Impreza hatchback 2.5i and I’m pretty sure it’s the same type of intake
Did it work
How do you make an intake video and you don’t put an audio clip of it in ?
I have a 06 that I’m thinking of doing the same too
have u done it yet? lmk
@@SyTradesno I haven’t. Might upgrade the exhaust first still considering the intake
Where did you get your front lip ?
ebay. it was a wrx front lip. same year i think 05
Any update?
Thanks man. This helped me a lot!
Which sensor did you take out?
Music is loud as shit
Where did the "other hose" that your explaining go?
So glad I didn’t get this CAI for my legacy I don’t think I could’ve lived with looking at that (for my own car)
i thought it looked fine but to each their own ig
Not sure if you'll see this since this was back in Feb. but you never mentioned what you ended up doing with that extra hose/plug that went into the bottom front of the box that connects to the throttle body. I can see the other two hoses but not that one.
anyone know if this can go on a 2010 legacy gt?
Make more vids on this joint I got the exact same whip same year too
Thanks for sharing the website been looking for a cold air intake for so long for my 2.5i Subaru
Me too I have a 2008 2.5i, have you tried this intake yet? How is it?
no problem!
Get an K&N if you havnt ordered that junk already it’s worth the extra time of making it fit (when you order get the one for the 04 Impreza and just cut it at the corner and turn the piece 90 degrees get a coupler and it will look a lot nicer I can send a pic if you need a visual
@@michaelsawyerjr1146 not sure if you still have the pic but can you send it 💀
@@143jay8 I found the picture 😂😂
I just added a cold air intake on my Subie and so far pretty fun sounding
Is it still running great?
Hey mate, awesome upgrade! Also, if you do a UEL headers (manifold) upgrade. Please let me know and show, how you locate the o2 sensors on the front of the stock EL on the first cat. Thanks a bunch! Awesome vid
