Thank you. Trying to switch it up a bit. The case that the sign was in didn't give me a glare like they normally do when I take a picture of it. So I figured I would incorporate into the video. I did a few videos like that.

Actually, MAD is the final stage of the hunt. Sonobuoys are used first to detect and locate the target. MAD is used to at low altitude to get the final location, course and speed before using weapons if needed. Retired avionics tech, VP-50, VP-31, VP-4.

Stand by for a world of lunatics to tell you the Earth is flat, moon landings are a hoax, and aliens abducted their grandma. Cool video though.
Such a shame that they didn't preserve all of those videos, data reels, and other info from that era. So much lost info, it would be neat to see a great deep dive to see how much and what has been lost.
@@MrProy33 Our government does a terrible job at preservation. It really is a shame especially since the moon landing was so important to our country.
@@TheContentCreator101 NASA did not preserve some tapes of the Apollo video. They only have slightly lower quality copies. But there isn't a second of Apollo video you can't see on UA-cam. Is that what you are referring to?
@@DeputyNordburg As MrPoy33 said basically everything from that event. They could have done a better job.
Thanks!
You're welcome but for what?
f-4 Phantoms had two engines.
Yes, the F4 did have twin engines. The F8 did not. It only had one.
@@TheContentCreator101 I looked up a few of the prototypes as you got me curious. Seems as if a few of the early ones had one engine. Who woulda thunk?
@@TheContentCreator101 I flew the recon version of the Crusader, the RF-8g, and then went on to the F-14. The wing had to be raised to get the tail clearance to land. It was not easier to land on a carrier than the F-4. The Crusader, in fact, was one of several aircraft (including the Vigilante) with a reputation of being extremely difficult to bring aboard. Any UA-cam with carrier crashes will have F-8s in it! The 4 guns in the F-8 were notorious for jamming up under G. In fact, the gunfighter with the most Mig kills is the F-105, I believe. most F-8 guys who went on to the F-4 really loved it. I very well may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure there was never a single engine F-4. Its predecessor was the F3H Demon and it was a single engine design.
@@NunyaByness You're right. I just rewatched the video. Nick, the person I was interviewing got mixed up. The F4 Phantom had two engines. The F8 Crusader had one engine.

The F84 was accepted in 1947. In 1948, it was under review by the Air Force, due to Structural and Powerplant issues, it was not Considered Operational until 1949.
Thank you for the information. It is a rare bird to see.
This aircraft uses a direct variation of the B17 engine!
Wonderful aircraft.
One of 4 left!
Yes, and you have one of the only four. :) Another plane that is rare to see was a MIG. I saw a MIG-15 at Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum. Seeing these rare birds are pretty cool!
Did you know this shares the same engines as early C130’s?
You know I didn't. I was unaware that a single engine model was used in multiple aircraft until recently. I had thought it was designed specifically for one particular plane.
Allison T-56, different props and gear box.
The last gunfighter!
Was it the last plane that was made to dogfight?

Nice Video - Pilot - "Walk around" and "Hands On" plus great Narrative! - I didn't know they had Chutes Marines or Navy - Good Stuff!👍🤙
Well thank you. In my opinion this was my best made video thus far but still needs a lot of improvement. This one served the basis on how I want my future videos to be if I can make it happen again.
1 - Keep your hands out of your pockets 2 - Perform a walk around 3 - Be mindful of the weather 4 - Maintain a professional presentation - Video of the Aircraft in Action - Consider creating 3D-printed items to sell in your merchandise store. You still get a thumbs-up - Punk A S S Good Luck!
What?
@@TheContentCreator101 - You wanted Feed Back - you got it!
True but I was looking for advice on stuff I can change. It is a museum so the aircraft in action is definitely not possible. In more of my newer videos I did a walk around if possible. Finally, I can't change the weather and I can't help what the speaker does or says. But all of your points are valid though so maybe I should rephrase my comment to reflect things I have control over.
