One of the most interesting things about the ship itself is that they installed 7 bladed skewback propellers. These are normally only found on submarines and help limit cavitation which creates noise but while less efficient on surface ships, they give the ship a smoother ride which can be a big deal if they are trying to perform surgery on a moving ship. You can find many photos of them but at one time their designs were very classified and some still are as Images of them could allow attack subs to more easily identify another sub by their sound and reference material. You can even find photos of the huge skewbacks on the Mercy-class ships undergoing maintenence in dry dock.
