I was there, I enjoyed my day, great City Great Venue and List of Contributers, the headphones for the interviews etc and even to demo guitars on made it a little sterile for me. I am oldschool and like loud amps 🙂✌️
American legend, not enough people know his name. He's up there with Leo imho It's a shame musicians have a snobbish opinion of Peavey, but those in the know, benefit because vintage Peavey gear can be had at fraction of the asking price for more "respected" brands.
Die 57 er Paula klingt absolut durchsichtig und klar definierbar in den verschiedenen Lagen.Gitarre ,Amp,Spieler....Beste Art den wahren Klang einer Gitarre zu bestimmen!
The word that Frederik is looking for at the 16:20 mark is "syncopation" or "syncopated rhythms".
Fred and Mikael both absolutely deserve reissues on their signature guitars.
Please for the love of guitars, new signature guitars! Wasn’t playing guitar, when they came out.. but I’d certainly by one.. or even two 😁 haha
I absolutely love this man! Frederik is the best!
I wonder what tsa would think this is for if they opened it up
Fantastic guitar player. Saw Opeth three weeks ago. Wow. Just wow 👏👏👏👏👏
Well said. Saw them in Oct. 2024 in Washington DC at The Warner Theater & i do agree with you WOW!!! They were awesome & for a band that normally won't do encores they did two.
Wow, I never realized how great he would be as an interview guest. Can’t wait to hear more from him.
Clearly, no budget for Air Con on this set wow, poor Frederick, their sweating balls up there ... Freddie is sooo damn good it's disgusting !!!
Fredrik is one of my top 5 guitar players ever! I hope I get to shake his hand some day...
I had no idea he was involved with Ghost. No wonder I enjoyed Impera so much!
Hartley’s dad was a tough nut to crack. Dad I want a guitar. No son, you can only have a guitar if you learn how to play one. Huh? How is the guy going to learn how to play unless he has one? Sounds like a catch-22 to me. Anyway dad’s are great for denying their sons of things that they think are frivolous. In high school I wanted to play drums. My dad just said “no”. So my uncle had a Gibson SG, Jr. that he wasn’t playing & I got to learn on that. Even though my dad kind of sucks, I am glad that I am a guitar player now instead of a drummer.
Fred is such a humble guy. Truly a wizard on guitar.
For a guy interviewing about guitars, saying PSR instead of PRS a couple of times is a bit weird and sloppy.
I think he just slipped that out & Frederik never says PSR as he knows what these guitars are & i must admit after watching the Royal Albert Hall DVD both Mike & Fredrik had troubles with the signature cheap PRS models they used, I believe Frediks problem was the cables got messed up from the camera guys & well Mikes just went out on him twice. No problems with the SE Models & one that i have I've never had any problems with. I'm A Gibson guy but i do own a few other guitars but just one PRS SE 24. Just saw Opeth in Washington DC in Oct. & lord they were awesome as it gets. Seems to me in this interview there is only two guitar players there as they mention one & no asks Fredrik any questions. DUH, you got this pro here & no questions???? I would have asked a bunch & i started back in the mid 60s.
Amazing guitarist!!!
Is it me or his english vastly improved in the last few years?
I would agree!
I love OPETH
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Is this only pickup sound or any room mic mixed?
This man's double 18 subs got more dudes laid in bars than any other speaker ever LOL.
BRING BACK THE G90 Guitar, exactly as it was back in the 90s before it became Vandenberg
Fascinating interview . I fell in love with his products, got a bunch of amps and a couple of guitars. Looking for a t 60 ATM . What an incredible man . Love from West Wales ..
Very well
Nice one ! 🙏
To jest słyszenie rośnięcia grzybów w lesie ale bardzo ważne dla wariatów
So hard to choose! 8^)
Started on a Peavey Classic, played hundreds of other amps over the years...at 50 I am back on a Peavey classic. It's still the best sounding amp I have ever played.
A total legend, we owe so much wonderful music to this man !
Interessantes Interview. Dem vorherigen Kommentar schließe ich mich nicht an. Beachtlich, was ihr macht.
Wouldn't it make more sense to set the pedal tone to similarly match the amp tone? So when you kick the pedal on, there isnt so much of a chance to get a drastic tone change?
Interesting and genuine man, great interview.
Did we ever figure out what the prototype was on the board next to the plumes
Killer sounds! 👍👍👍
As a pedal steel guitar player, I and other steel players owe Peavey a great deal of gratitude for his support of and making so many great amps for us .
#6_Aug28_2024_VeryHelpful🇺🇸
I have the Invective MH and the Clean and the Distorted Channel are awesome! And i use Always the Boost in,because then the Amp ist a Killer Blockletter 5150 Sound.Great Job Misha! This is my Amp for Live
Was macht deine Schulter😢 Gruß Jürgen
This was great.
Uli Behringer says hi
hiiii mengerikan , i thought european were different from americans, ternyata sami mawon sama saja. mendingan ngaji saja daripada nonton konser perusak CIPTAAN ALLAH. gak kuat beli kanvas lukis hah? duitmu kan akeh/ banyak, daripada ngrusak karya Tuhan
to the point to the point no faking. what's your opinion about tattoo? do you know what God command about it? you made your skin dirty n need to wash it i guess.😮🎉
Making quality equipment and great prices wasnt rewarded in our country. Marketing is always a nightmare. Peavey is top top tier, the perceptions of people made them think "more expensive, more better"
I started with peavey branched out and came back to peavey The gear, the sound has always been top tier with the more reasonable price.
