It's the first part of our journey around Ireland! We learn about driving on the left, make our way to Doolin, and check out the Cliffs of Moher!

We've taken a quick hop over to Belfast to check out all the lovely sights that this industrial city has to offer. Mostly, that means checking out the Titanic Quarter!

We actually go out exploring Edinburgh! We see the castle, the Royal Mile, have some delicious whiskey (well, one of us does), and check out the views from Calton Hill!

It's Falkirk! The Falkirk Wheel turns out to be really impressive (even when broken), the Kelpies are somewhat underwhelming, and the bus system around town is highly confusing!

On the sixth day of our trip, we spend time walking around Glasgow, seeing the botanical gardens, National Piping Center, and the University of Glasgow. Then we travel to Edinburgh, where we'll be tomorrow!

On the fourth and fifth days of our journey, we travel up to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park just outside of Glasgow. We do a fair bit of hiking, and mainly try not to get blown away by the wind!

On our second day, we head down to Stonehenge to check out a bunch of rocks in a field next to some sheep. Then we get our nerd on for the European Pokemon International Championships, with some other assorted spots in London for good measure.

It's our first day in travelling to and in the UK (London specifically)! We see Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace (briefly), the Battersea Power Station, and then take a dinner cruise down the River Thames!

Days 3&4 of our anniversary trip see us head over to Mars Hill, NC, do some hiking at Max Patch Bald, Little Falls Branch Trail, and Harmon Den Picnic Area, before ending with some beautiful waterfalls! For our 5 year wedding anniversary, we decided to head down to Hot Springs, NC, where we would rent a mountain cabin. The Hot Springs Log Cabins are a great place to stay safe from the current pandemic, as well as hang out with our dogs Miya & Tomo.
