    Thanks for the vid! Have you thought of using some sound absorption?..not necessarily foam but Bass traps/panels (rock wool) tightens up the room echo in the audio quality (voice, etc).

    Settings changed a little - or different in mine. I had to click the 'Original sound for musicians' radio button to get those last 3 options. Thanks for the video!

    hi sebastian! thank you for your video! I have a issue on capturing midiculous or synthesia in OBS. I'm using Mac. I can't find any of those app in OBS window capture, game capture. etc. do you happen to know how to solve this?

    Hi, is it possible to get some advice on using midicolous in OBS to record streaming videos. But my Midi controler doesn’t have sound coming out in OBS. I am stuck here and would appreciate some advice pls thank u? Anyone

      Hey Patrik. Glad to help! Tell me more about the audio set up. Are you using a midi controller or a digital piano? Have you routed the audio to OBS?

      @@sebastiangomezmusic Hi thank you for your quick response really appreciated. Well my set up is basically for Recording music I am normally using FL studio. My setup up is Scarlet Focusrite 4i4, playing out through Studio Monitors. But I just want to Record Video content about how to play songs on Piano with Midicolous. Evrything works fine my mic is connected to line one into my Interface so thats works sound is coming in to OBS no bother. But I cant get my sound from my Midi into OBS. Nor sure whether its because its Usb Midi ?

      They do indeed! Once students learn the “natural scale” I teach them exactly this and how C M and Am are relative scales

      Haha good catch! Since it’s the first scale I teach I focus on getting my stunts to play it before I confuse them by naming it. It always helps when I inspire them to want to know the name before I force them to know it

      And it’s a pretty rough sounding scale with little musicality, especially out of context . At least start on C so it sounds more musical.

      Again. This is just a spring board to teach other things like scales, arpeggios, chord spelling, etc. Beginners on the piano learn best when they play the whole piano and know the notes top to bottom; lowest A to highest C The guitar doesn’t start on C, so I start them on low E. It’s very musical in reference to the guitar, specially to the Phrygian and Andalusian scale and cadence. It all comes down the reference. Also, keep it friendly in my comment section! 👊

      Disagree, playing only the natural notes makes it way easier to find the accidentals

      Definitely helps! It also inspires students to learn patterns on their own. A lot of my students have then learned arpegios other modes on their after I teach them this. It facilitates organic learning once you can name the notes on the fretboard

      Very possibly true. But again, I just post what has helped my students and has gotten them to understand music. This might not resonate with everyone, but with some it will help them out

      I always enjoy this one more since I can keep the same pattern on my fingers, and I can change the pattern up so it’s more of a twister

    Thank you for your wonderful tutorial! It worked great....until....When I started up the keyboard and the computer the next day, everything had resized and I had to start over. Please, how do I keep it from resizing every day? (I have tried every day for a week...same result.) Thank you again!

      Hey! This happens often when things are plugged and unplugged. So I recommend always plugging into the same port. The other reason could be if you're using Logitech cameras and don't have LogiTune open. I find that's one anoying thing about logitech cameras in OBS

      @@sebastiangomezmusic You are SO KIND to reply! I figured out that it is a screen resolution problem. I have two monitors. If I open Midiculous with the second monitor off, it re-sizes in OBS. BUT if I turn on the monitor and THEN open Midiculous, it works. (and I must close Midiculous before I turn off the second monitor - or the next day it is re-sized). Rather annoying, but do-able! Thank you very much for your time.

      I love these K&M boom stands:amzn.to/3UAUmHy They're very sturdy and reliable. But any stand will do. Tabletop stands are harder to work with since I don't think they'll get the same range as a floor boom stand

      For my sheet music I use Forscore. forscore.co I can scan all my books and sheet music into it and have a pdf copy on the app that's backed up to my iCloud. Let me know if you have any other questions!

      @@sebastiangomezmusic Works the same way. Get a Jamstik and make sure you Put MIDIculous in Standard Midi Map. We have a video on our site for Bass.

      @@GospelMusicians I have looked into the Fishman Triple Play wireless pickup. Would also work? I also tried the JamOrigins MIDI Guitar system which works though an instrument cable but MIDIculous doesn’t register what string you’re playing on. I did see the bass video but I didn’t know what hex pickup he was using. I know the other one available is the Roland GK pickups but those require the whole guitar synth system.

      @@sebastiangomezmusic The MIDI Guitar mus support Standard MIDI Mapping; otherwise, there is no way for the software to determine what string is being played. We tested our app out on the Jamstik and it works perfectly. If you try to use any other system which converts Audio to MIDI, MIDiculous cannot pick up the exact string.

      Hey Austin! Haha funny you mention it, I literally thought today "I need to pick up banjo again." I can say I know my basic chords, can play some Rolling Stones style riffs, I can do a clawhammer strumming technique, and some basic rolls VERY slowly.

      @@sebastiangomezmusic I learned some of the basics a few years ago because there was a student at the school I taught who insisted I should teach them banjo despite never having played one.
