South Jackson Street Band is Middle Tennessee's premier big band playing jazz, swing, Latin, waltz, and dance music from the 1930's through today. We perform for wedding receptions, company events, fund raisers, civic events, birthdays, reunions, patriotic events, dinner dances, dance classes, and any public or private event where the class and style of a big band is desired. I love the South Jackson Street Band. Wish they could put the mic closer to the band to preclude the crowd noise. But I really enjoyed the performance.
Unfortunately, we don't have much flexibility in placing the mics at an event. We have considered trying a shotgun mic, but those are rather expensive. We are trying to improve our video recordings. Thanks for your support.
When I was a kid my Dad used to occasionally play that on the piano in the evening when everyone was getting ready for bed.
