Cool background dude
Neovim saved me from a total burnout. Generally just moving from IDE, VSCode to terminal-only apps just made me feel joy and have a fun like kid again And seeing overtime how you change things and become more efficient and mindful about your whole environment is soooo satisfying. Gives great burst of dopamine
Hell yeah! I also feel like using the terminal more gets you closer to the machine, and you just understand the environment you’re working in much better!
as someone who has all the time in the world right now but is struggling to start the first draft of their book, this was inspiring. I'll sit down and write 2000 words today.
hell yeah, good luck! make a cool canvas🫶
"i woke up insanely early! okay, not so insanely early." *proceeds to mention insanely early wake-up time 😃
@marjovy hahahahha it’s all relative eh🫶
Great video! Hurry up by slowing down! Many time I have not taken the time to break from a project, end up burning out or making errors that if I had not stopped, cleared my head, maybe even rewarded myself, when I returned to the project with refreshed eyes, I could see the challenges. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the kind words, glad it resonated! Yeah stepping away from the screen can do some absolute magic sometimes😃

Awesome video! Great ideas I will remember I need a notebook...if I can remember 😆 Seriously, great ideas! Creative people get inspiration at the oddest times and we never remember! Thanks for sharing and your positive attitude!
hahaha i’m happy it landed with you! My next purchase is a waterproof notebook for the shower, then my collection is complete😃😃
Really cool ideas, I'll give this a go!
hell yeah, glad it clicked!
I would never use the word stupid! If I am unknowing about a subject, I would not consider it being stupid. The quest for knowledge is a quest. The process will be filled with trials, mistakes and successes. What I think the challenge is that we have to keep our understanding of the speed in which not knowing turns into understanding and in the process we need to have a level of humility in the process. We are all wired differently. I may learn something quicker than another and vise versa. When we compare ourselves to others, maybe more gifted in speedy learning, we set up ourselves to downgrade our own experiences in learning. I think that makes sense...or maybe I am just stupid 😉
Thank you for sharing this idea, I especially love the part about the speed of understanding, it resonates a lot with my own experience! I am also very cautious about self-talk and narratives, so I'd never advise anyone to think of themselves as stupid, but it does come up, and I think it provides a very funny way to expand this idea :D
Grew up around certain corporate workers saying too loud long hours are not acceptable 😅
hahaha maybe those corporate workers were onto something😃
Been taking notes the whole time ;) -Bence

Thankyou for this video! It’s scary how well this relates to my current feelings and situation.
hahahah yes i do believe this to be a universal experience! glad the video resonated, and i’m sure you’ll find your way through soon🫶
I’m always told to post on my website, but idk if anyone will ever see what I post
i think this exercise is valuable even if nobody ever reads it, except you! I like posting online, because it opens up possibilities, but you don’t have to
Thank you bro
happy it helps!🫶
This was a very informative video, even though I’m still in high school. Can you do a video on how to do a research paper?
Glad you liked it! I am actually in the process of writing a paper now for a conference, so I’ll share that process over the coming months!🫶
Hey! I could relate a lot of this with my entrepreneurship journey as well. I wish you the best for your PhD!! We are all gonna make it!!
I’m glad it landed! I also think that the two are quite similar, in that it really feels that you’re out for yourself, you know? Good luck to you too🫶
@@agbocsardi absolutely, they are both also long term works, needs sleepless nights but a burning passion to solve a problem. At the end it all feels very serene to have done something useful

Great video! I'm looking to get into vintage lenses and there was a lot of useful information here!
I’m very glad you found it helpful🫶! I wanted to spare you the hours of forum-digging on adapters and speedboosters, but the rabbithole is waaaaaay too deep to cover in one video😃
I have the Helios 44-2 and used to love it, but now I don't know what to think. I always knew it was a cheap "copy" of the Zeiss Biotar, but I just assumed someone in Russia had a close look at it and decided to design a new cheaper version to make photography more accessible to people. I had no idea that they literally stole the machines and blueprints. Urgh! How awful!
yeah this is very much in the soviet spirit, but I don’t think it should stop us from loving these lens!
They did not stole it, but it was a regular war reparation for incredible destructions the Germans did in the East.
Eastern Germany was soviet territory at the time so they didn't steal anything
That is true, I more mean the “taking apart and packing up an entire factory, then shipping it back to the homeland” part😃
Digging this format! And the intro edit was top
Thanks a lot friend🫶🫶

i recently got my first camera, a fuji. i exclusively take jpegs only (raw is not turned on), for the same fundamental reasons why shooting analog film is more enjoyable. i treat the process as if i were shooting film. i do not check the photos, i think BEFORE taking the photo, and i put thought into each shot. i have a set of 7 film simulations that i got from fujixweekly that i choose between for each given shot. the most i do in post is change the highlight, shadow, or exposure values, most of the time i dont need to tho, because i try to get it right before taking the photo. i highly suggest that u turn off raw as well, and try to approach it like film, or at least just dont take 50 photos of pretty much the same thing.
Yes, I only shoot raw when the white balance situation is messed up and I can’t dial it in pre-shoot, then it’s great to move it around in post. All other business, I’m shooting jpegs😃 I even like to stick to one film sim for occasions, as if taking “one roll” with me

I use the bullet journal system too. It really helps me get things done and record important things.
Yes! I love how everything is in one place too, I don’t have to wonder where I wrote down what😃
@gbocsardi I even have a page for my dog where I write down when I've given him his worming tablet, given him a bath or taken him to the vet etc.
Highly relatable story. We have a lot in common for sure! One of my motivation to complete my PhD was to be able to afford my first proper camera. It happened to be a Canon 90D. Since that initial purchase in July 2021, my journey has taken me through the Canon 5D Mark III and IV, the Fujifilm X-T4 and X100V, and most lately, the X-T5, the X100VI, and the Canon R6. It's been almost 3 years, and I'm still in love with photography despite all the AI stuff that I'm doing on a daily basis. I just wish that I could do more portraits. Wishing you the best of luck on your journey!
Thanks a lot, what a nice collection you had! Hope to go through a similar evolutions as I move through my own phd🫶
You say "like" way too much. Just an observation
haha you’re right, at this point I recognize “you know… like” in the audio waveform because i say so so much😃

It was not clear for me. Can you please, tell me what's your camera model, settings and lens for recording this video? It looks really nice and I'd like my videos to look that good. I am also reconnecting with still photography, and would experiment with video after 30+ years :-)
The video was shot on a DJI Osmo Pocket 3, using a Rode Videomic Go 2 shotgun mic via USB-C. The settings on the pocket are 4k25, standard color, autoexposure (because i’m lazy😃). Super powerful setup, especially for the price, highly recommend! Good luck with the video adventures, amazing medium🫶
