Talise Micro Hydro, Vanuatu. Turning on Nasawa School meterbox and streetlight 29JUL2018
Переглядів 682 роки тому
Bringing 24/7 electricity to a school, particularly in a remote area of Vanuatu, is very exciting for all involved. Note the ash flying in the air - a result of the then erupting volcano on nearby Ambae. Many of the students at the school at the time were evacuees from Ambae.
Loading shipping container with an on-ship crane
Переглядів 1372 роки тому
At major ports, shipping containers are typically loaded and unloaded by (stable) on-shore cranes. However, in remote ports, an on-ship crane is needed. Very slight rocking of the ship at sea level can result in significant rocking at the top of the on-ship crane, resulting in a swinging of the container. Worth considering when packing a shipping container.

Organized chaos with great results. I was surprised a spigot and hose were not installed to fill the ice trays.

Hi Iam very in small hydro power project and in the process of proposal writing. I'll be getting in touch with Pelena Energy soon
Great work for the successful project done by masupa people....good to see such cooperation
Love it!
With all that pressure you think they would put in a hydrant.. it will need a good check valve so oxygen won't get into the system... They probably need to put a distilment plant right next to the power plant.. but it was a great idea to put a refrigeration plant right there now they going to have ice chest freezers... They can provide ice up and down that River..
Team work..
It was inspiring to see the community coming together for a project like this.
Great video. Congratulations to the Masupa community for their participation in a successful project!
