Some skin is different, and I know piercer suggest saline solution a lot of piercings do but I found that that does not work for my ears. It dries them out. It makes it really bad causes me infections problems issues. I can’t clear up infections very fast either when I do that, so what I found that works that I got this suggested by my piercer or by a piercer when we had the old piercing shop I used to go to. I have to go to a different one this upcoming weekend same Piercing chain, but different piercing shop because the original one that I went to to pierce. All my piercings is closed, but I have found that I cannot clean my ears with saline solution. Some people have very sensitive skin to appoint saline solution, although gentle on most skin, sometimes is not the gentle on overly sensitive skin so It’s not the best all the time now I did have my piercer suggested old way that they used to suggest and sometimes the oldies are just the best for certain skin types and that is to use soap and water. That’s it soap and water mild soap. No like floral scent. No scent no additive. No nothing just soap and water. That’s it after I did that Because I was having irritation and problems and DDDDDD with my snug at one point and my conch piercings, and I changed it to soap and water, and I’ve have not had it since very often. If I do get an irritation it’s for like a day maybe two and then it goes away and it’s gone, but my piercings are pretty much healed at this point, except for my piercings in which they irritate but like I said, they are too healed as well but they just irritate quicker than my snug does just because my conch piercings unfortunately they had studs in them and so that screwed the skit the integrity of the skin, and it kind of messed up the integrity of my skin and stuff because of the studs being thereand just damaged ultimately damaged like my cartilage and my skin and stuff like that so it’s very easy for me to get an infection there but I found that cleaning was soap and water. No saline solution omit that completely no problems no infections no issues.

Different piercing, but my septum was completely healed- no soreness or anything after one week using saline wash and tea tree oil mixed with honey and coconut oil together. It healed so fast i couldnt believe it. I changed my ring after 3 weeks and ive gone several weeks without wearing it and it never closes. Like it healed healed very quick. I'm getting the daith tommorrow and will do the same for it. Hopefully i wont have any issues. Thank you for sharing!

I used prescription drysol 8ish years ago given by my pediatrician. My hyperhidrosis came back and went to my now doctor who prescribed me these wipes. Went to the pharmacy and it was $500! Insurance didn’t cover it so I said heck no. And didn’t want to waste another doctors visit with copay. Tried certain dri and it did nothing. Zero sweat works! Just like the drysol did with way easier application. You are gorgeous btw

i have had my daith piercing for 3 months and he kept swollen and i got a bumps top and bottom and they want take it out im like no i don’t want them take it out. i been cleaning it with saline twice a day. i guess the guy that piercing my ear didn’t angles it right. i have had ppl tell me used pure emu oils that will help. i don’t know. this is on my left ear.

I have 18 piercings and all I use is dial antibacterial soap with alcohol and All my piercings so far healed less than 3mos but it just depends on your body however I want my daith pierce but I'm scared. Now how in the heck I'm scared when I have so many other piercings including my tragus 😅

Piercing jewellery is super expensive and it’s even worse if you have an allergy to nickel and certain metals and things like that because then it’s even more expensive coat. At that point you have to get like surgical steel or neo metal or gold or something that’s like super fucking expensive.

My feminine hygiene is using body wash and dry my self off put on a pair of women's panties or men's underwear and put a always size 5 overnight maxipad in my underwear or panties and then get dressed for bed and put a little perfume on

The only thing I use to clean my daith is just soap called Provon. I use qtips but I make sure the qtip is drenched with water on one side and the other soap. If I use just neilmed or anything else it doesn’t clean my piercings. After that I make sure the piercing is dry as much as possible. I even stay on the my fan for a few mins to make sure my ear is dry and free of moisture

I can only wear solid gold everything else irritates my piercings. Just got my daith done over a week ago and using neilmed spray for the first time. Hoping to not get bumps because the spray is highly recommended ☺️
