Veg Fire starts in Lytle Creek by possible arson
On Oct. 26th, 2024, at 12:13 am, a report was made of a fire on the roadside in Lytle Creek north of the ranger station. San Bernardino County fire responded and found a 20x20 spot on the side of the road. Shortly after another, a second fire was reported by dispatch south of the first fire whereas more units were dispatched. A 3rd fire was found which this fire made it way up the hill by steep terrain and was burning at approx. 4 to 5 acers. A report of flare was found the first fire making it seem that all 3 fires were started by an arsonist.

Oct. 5th, 2024, approx. 9:30pm Fontana PD was in pursuit of a white vehicle which crashed into an SUV-type vehicle at Foothill Blvd. and Etiwanda Ave. The driver of the pursued vehicle was trapped with unknown injuries.
