Nice work! Why only use 6 brass bridge pins and not 12? I will be installing a bridge doctor in my custom-made 12-string.
@@EdKihm-x6 most of the support is on just one of the brass pins, the one that gets screwed into the doctor . So you can certainly use more than 6 pins but the question would be if there is enough space for all 12 washers on the bottom . Personally I don’t see how it would support much
i put one and my action was higher, how come? I used he one with the hole in middle of the bridge
@@robertomadrid6614 hey ! You need to adjust the truss rod accordingly and perhaps loosen the tension screw on the bridge doctor I recommending tuning to D standard to see how it settles after for a bit before raising to E standard
