I had the same HB tele, i also played a custom shop tele. Let me tell you they where two different instrument, when you play you can feel a mechanical link with the guitar and that custom tele was something else. Btw if you want to achieve just a sound on bolt on nevks it's just a pick-up matter. Also try to play hi gain and you'll notice a lot of differences, it will make shine all the buzzing and capabilities of the pu's

You never know, I picked up an open box Chinese sg kit for like 39 bucks just for something to do, carefully reworked the neck put an old pro-bucker on the neck and a p90 I had in a bag-o-pickups on the bridge, painted it that vintage red like a really old sg surprisingly it smoked, like I said ya never know.

You cannot compare these 2 guitars, they are completely different. Jags are way cooler though 🤘

For distorsion, no, only good rat or good overdrive like orange amps... Is good guitar eith excellent sound

The Epiphone bridge pickup is fuller, while the neck one has less low end. Not that it's bad, but I like the Gibson better.

The Harley Benton sounds more hollow. The difference in body with with Squier is noticeable in all positions. That said, the Harley Benton is quite good. Maybe with a pickup update it could top the Squier or even surpass it.

Curious. I was recently interested in getting a Jaguar, but after watching a few comparison videos with strats, I've realized I don't really love the change in sound. Maybe in the future for studio recording, but it doesn't look like a guitar I would play frequently. Thanks a lot for this video :)

I honestly prefer the tone of HB here, especially the neck pickup. But that's just me.

I liked them both. I thought they were very equal for sound, a small tweek of the amp and you would probably not notice the difference, my opinion only, love you all, peace and happiness, and keep on pluckin'.

The Jag is warmer, but its transient response seems to be a lot faster, so you get this very compressed yet "snappy" pop off the fretboard with every note. Very punchy on every note, but yet darker/warmer to compensate so that it's not too harsh sounding. Whereas the tone of the Strat is a little "looser" but has that resonance and heavenly aspect. I love both.

Pickups in Harley Benton are more similar to Seymour Duncan pickups than to classical Gibson's. They are good pickups, although extremely cheap, I think 10 times cheaper than Gibson's. Overall, Harley Benton sounds extremely well, and is very good and quality produced, no mistakes and bad after several years I have one. But a bit different of Gibson, although look is almost identical.

Definitely like the Fender neck pickup more tha the HB. But it is amazing that everything else is so close. I'm a big HB fan and own several.

I'm becoming a big fan of Harley 20 years ago. Being left handed didn't give you good options and very expensive just for a shotty squire So many options now for the left-handed and Harley. Benton has won me over big time i'm getting five guitars one acoustic

How can I get the this tone , advice please…

Just recently came across this video while researching Ibanez guitars and I have to say I'm in love with your performance and this tune. Is this something you improvised? I'd love to learn to play it but as a beginner guitarist only a few months in, I wouldn't be able to play it by ear. Do you have a sheet or tab version perhaps that you could share? Thanks!

As much as I wanted to like the Jaguar better, the Strat does it again!

Why that distortion? It was good to hear it in clean sound. That crunch makes all guitars produce the same noise.
