Ryan B’s wife filed for divorce the same week he returned, so some justice will be served.
Great show!!!! Thanks for taking my suggestion!
I’m so happy to see a couple who supported each other through getting sober. Even if you weren’t on the same time table. It says so much about your relationship. It’s a rare thing. I’m in absolute awe of you two, both personally and professionally.
MORE EPISODES! Puhleeze!
I am so glad I finally followed this link! Getting comfy to be intellectually stimulated, entertained and happy! You’re so cuuute together.
Love is blind is great! I never watched the ultimatum …gonna have to check it out now!!
I love love love this. I love you didn't box people into an AA meetings. I suffer with Anxiety. I totally understand. Thank you for being so vulnerable.
But beyond that, loving Mostly Harmless.
The jerky bachelor was icky Nick, I am betting. When he came back for a second go round, that’s when they lost me. What an awful guy. Sweet looking face hiding a budding sociopath. Just sayin.
What about insurance fraud? He took out that policy before he took off.
Sounds like we hit some of the same stomping grounds in CA Sarah. My bf at the time lived in Van Nuys. We were constantly seeing celebrities out and about, but, I always maintained my composure. However, like you would have lost it for Ewan McGregor I did lose it once with Michael J Fox😅. Sometimes, you just can’t help it🤣. Great show you two😊

Hi Matt & Sarah!
Hi guys it's Michelle from the UK, just wanted to say I love the mostly harmless podcast, I really enjoy the natural back and forth between you both, and I find the subjects interesting. My dad introduced us to the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy when I was about ten years old, he had the original radio series on cassette tapes, and we would listen to an episode after our Sunday lunch, since then I have become a Douglas Adams die hard fan, I especially appreciated your candid Ness in your episode about becoming sober,my father passed several years ago due to liver cirrhosis, after years of not addressing his issues with alcohol, and the honesty of you both in sharing your experiences was really refreshing. Xx
Sarah I appreciated the addicted to cig story after one smoke. It made me chuckle.
Sarah, he’s a cutie! I’m just catching up here!
Very much enjoyed a male perspective as we get very few of those on Sister Wives!
PREACH!!!
"Muppet"... LMAO!!!😂
Loving Matt's comments about "the villain in this story"! I have expressed the same sentiments over the years. This whole thing lies on Kody's shoulders!
There’s going to be a news conference some time today (Dec. 11th) on charges, etc., according to Wisconsin Public Radio.
Yes! We saw that! We will be watching!
I already freaking love you & now I love y’all!!!
Sometimes being "sober" brings along the stereotype of "oh, you must have had a big problem to have become sober." For me it wasn't even anything, I just choose not to drink. But every time it comes to ordering drinks when in a group setting, I get the look of "oh, sober huh..." Let's just normalize the choice itself not to drink, it doesn't always mean there was a problem!
💯
Congratulations on getting and staying sober Matt & Sarah. Thank you for sharing your journey with us❤
Off topic but my ADHD and OCD is so distracted by the leafs growing out of Matt’s neck and head. Please remove the plant when the second seat is occupied. I am really sorry but for one person willing to say something usually there are more people thinking it. I truly am not trying to be rude or petty. I think you are worth spending the time to be listened to undistracted. Congratulations both of you. Sober cold turkey is something to be proud of.
Thank you for the feedback! I’ve been meaning to move it! I will remove it 🤗
Congratulations to both of you!!! 👍👍👍 I drank, never had a problem with it, but I had to completely stop drinking after my illness, due to not having much of a pancreas left. My doctor did say I can have a drink occasionally, but I'd rather spend my carbs on bread or sweets. 😁 I miss it, but I'll manage without it. Great topic!
Congrats on getting and staying sober! My parents were "functional alcoholics, and in my 20s and early 30s I had my occasional issues. I had stomach issues that probably kept me from drinking any more.
I grew up in a house where both my parents smoked, and I appreciate that you quit for your kids, Matt.
Sarah! I love your dynamic with your hubby! He's a great story teller, also... so funny! So proud of you both for identifying when enough was enough, not an easy thing to do!
Smoker smell after they get in from dropping the cig and talk close to me makrs me so sick
I cannot express how proud I am of both you Matt and Sarah. Both of those extremely addictive vices are difficult to overcome and you both persevered and succeeded. I, fortunately, never enjoyed alcohol especially since alcoholism runs on both sides of my family. I count myself very lucky in that aspect. Unfortunately, I am a smoker of 40 years😲 (yes, I’m old🤣). I have recently been diagnosed with three lung diseases (not cancer fortunately) and in the process of attempting to quit smoking. I have gone from 3 packs a day to 1 1/2 packs a day and I feel I am at the hardest stage of my battle to quit. So I understand completely what you both have gone through and know it’s a never ending struggle because urges come up and will, so your success stories are inspirational to many, including myself, and gives me hope that I can do this even if I’m at a stalemate currently. Thank you for sharing your journey. Much love💗
That's amazing that you're quitting smoking. I've never been a smoker but have had family members who've quit and one who passed from lung cancer. She was an amazing person, and I hate that smoking took her too soon. Every cigarette you don't smoke is a huge win. It's definitely not easy or a success only journey, but you can do it. The world needs you in it as long as possible. Sending you all the love and support ❤❤❤
@ Thank you so much Lauren! Your post means the world to me💗. I’m sorry to hear about your Aunt😢. Best wishes to you🥰
Keep trying! You got this.
@miaclark1043 Thank you, I am😊
Great topic. Sarah, I wish you would have talked a little more.
I quit drinking and smoking 2 to 3 years ago. I have severe social anxiety but when I was diagnosed WITH NASH I quit alcohol. Results...worse in social setting but liver disease is not progressing. Still trying to fix my asocial tendency.
Im so glad you guys were able to do the work to make your lives better! It's hard work and takes a lot of connecting inward to do so. This was very informative to me and helped me understand more of how issues with alcohol can be insidious and almost invisible. I was raised and lived mormonsim till I was 28. I didn't drink tea or coffee, let alone alcohol till then. And I always thought one drink and it was over. I was afraid of addiction. It was relieving to know that wasn't the case. I have only been tipsy once or twice. Still have never been drunk, and honestly I don't want to be. I follow three rules when I drink 1) not on an empty stomach 2) one serving max per hour 3) not to change our emotional state (ie not drinking to feel happy, numb, sad) It may "take the fun out of drug use" as a friend of mine once said... but im grateful to have a timid approach to things. My spouse and I also started drinking when a lot of our never-mormon friends started their own sobriety journey so we just have very little desire to add alcohol to our get togethers. So I have a very limited view of that damages and issues that can happen due to alcohol. So thank you for being vunrable and sharing your real and raw experiences. There are a lot of people who dont understand these things because they just don't know what they dont know. ❤ Also- there is no acceptable amount of lead!! Lead stays in our body's! And while testing different places cap it at # of parts per MILLION children should not have more than ONE PART PER BILLION. Lead affects your nervous system and can show signs of lower IQ, memory loss etc in older life.
Congratulations to both of you on getting sober
Thank you both for sharing your experience! I'm 4+ years sober and it's always encouraging to hear from other sober people.
I used to work with a woman who kept a carton of cigarettes in her freezer, so if or when the end came (whether it was the end for everyone, or just her), she could smoke up. I will remember that story forever about how addictive smoking is. The fact that she didn't even want to waste time going to the store to get them.
Another great live Matt and Sarah ,very close to home this subject matter 🤗🙏love and appreciate your honesty, happy Christmas ⛄🎁🎁🎁🎁 both and kids xx
Such a tangled web he wove😲. All for naught it seems. Saddest part is how the kids suffered needlessly and cruelly😢.
Not only a waste of taxpayer money but also the resources that could be used on ACTUAL missing persons.
How can the wives that were not legally married, have Kody's last name?
Happy Anniversary 🎉
Had to Google witness protection lol: Administered by the U.S. Marshall Service, the program began in 1971 and has protected over 19,000 witnesses and their family members since then. When you think about how long it's been a thing, 19k is such a small number of people.
Thank you for the info! That’s wild!
He had a second passport! Crazy planning. And I’ve kayaked on that lake!!
That exact same thing happened to me! The only difference is that it happened when I was an adult and had 3 kids. All our furnishings and belongings were in a storage unit while we were building a house. The storage unit got broken into and they took furniture, tv’s and all our Christmas stuff. I didn’t care about any of it except all the sweet little ornaments that my kids made thru the years and all the ornaments they were given over the years. Still get emotional about those little ornaments.
My mom asked me if I wanted to have an ornament making party when I’m home for Christmas and I said yes! Maybe your kids would enjoy that too! It really sucks that people can be so crappy. Hugs 🤗 ❤️
@@MostlyHarmlessWithMattAndSarahAww thanks….same to you 😢Funny you mentioned an ornament making party because we have been doing that for a couple of years now and it’s been great. You just make more memories right!? Maybe the moral of the story is….dont put your stuff in storage unless you absolutely have to!!!
I have been fast forwarding through Kody/Robyn content, they are a boring broken record!
Happy Anniversary!! 💜💜💜
Sounds like he is deep in his midlife crisis. He seems to have found out that leaving your family for the hot blonde you think fancies you is not the solution.
Burbank resident here, I laughed so damn hard when Matt called out my town 😂😂
