Yea, my gixxer was only going to end with trouble or death. The 701 is way more fun & way less dangerous. I doubt you will ride your MT-10 if you have a 701 sitting there 😉

@@DoesGarage I've already been pulled over sending it 130+ on some backroads by a cop I didn't even know was chasing me. They let me off easily cause I was respectful and honestly didn't know they were there. Had a couple other times where I allegedly didn't bother to stop. If you don't bother to stop enough times, eventually it'll bite you, even if you are successful for years. Your second statement is also very true. I have heard that about people neglecting the sport bike after getting a supermoto. I rode my friends Husky the first year they were produced, 2016. I gave it barely any gas at all and the front wheel came up. I rode BMX as a kid so like you said, having a motorized BMX bike is probably very fun.

You can find them fairly cheap man. The most fun I've ever had on a bike.

Hey mate, cheers for reaching out and tuning in. I have installed one on a bike previously, but I always rev match on down-shift... I can't remember if you can stop it from cutting timing when you down-shift from memory.

@DoesGarage you can but i think you need to contact healtech to do so. Ive alway found a quick review and down shift works no worries same as if you rev matched and used the clutch for a down shift

Yes... heaps of power for an oversized dirtbike. I've obviously ridden faster bikes, this isn't what I'm saying. Any more power on this bike would make it unrideable...

​@@DoesGaragebro I think most multi bike riders got it.. I used to say this about the 450x sumo while owning a zx10r, clearly different power ratings but for the 450's weight and handling it has loads of power.. very interested in the husky though, think it will be my next.

​@DoesGarage just found your video. Can't believe how alike our stories are. I previously owned a 21 gsxr750, later upgraded to a current gen 17 gsxr1000r which had 1000ks on it when I bought it. Loved those bikes but after owning a klx230sm as a runabout I fell in love with the SM life. Was torn between letting the gixxer go and trying out a 24 701sm but boy am I glad I did. The 701 on the street just does everything BETTER. Totally agree with you on the point of this bike making you a better rider. My opinion, the 701 is like a cheat code for riding at pace, so easy and smooth. Enjoy your 701, I know I will be 😁.

I've ridden a fully de-resteicted MT07 & they aren't even in the same field. This 701 has almost 20,000kms and has had no issues. And even if it did have issues, it would be Totally worth it. 🤙
