Neal schon forever
thanks for uploading cool video, it's too bad I must have just missed this seminar (I started at G.I.T. in the fall of 1986) would of been cool to see
Great joaoMac Alpine
Joao vc é muito f**a! Fonte de inspiração e conhecimentos que carregamos até hj! Grazie!!!
It would be nice to see more of this with him from back then!!!!!!!!!!!!Truly Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like either Ralph Humphery or Casey Scherell on drums.
Monster picking 3:38 - 3:45 So awesome
I think he was smart to do what he was best at - neoclassical rock. The jazz ain't workin for me.
This is spectacular! Thanks so much for sharing. Amazing that this was recorded before his landmark album Edge of Insanity was released. These students and the world had no idea what they were in for.
Titanic departure has much better quality :D Tony is a beast btw
2004 faz um tempo..
Grande João! Saudades de ti meu amigo...

Tony MacAlpine con retencion de liquidos
A música mais bonita do Macalpine na minha humilde opinião. Obg pelo post
Kramer pacer imperial! This is the very first time i ever seen any vid of him using the Kramer!
muito bom
Always great. Get well soon T-Mac!
This is a video that GIT made when Tony was giving a seminar or clinic. The school always recorded visiting artists when they visited. The video was then available for viewing in the school library. I used to go to the library and watch these videos all the time. The school had a huge list of these videos. There was someone at the school every other week giving a clinic .

Good job :)
impresionante!!!!!!!!!!
omg...he looks like Miles Davis
Yes...and I am over 40... This indeed takes me back to 1986-I still have the LP-w/Sheehan(you know -the bass dude from "Talas")and Steve "Machine Gun" Smith. Thank you for posting
It's 1985 or 1986. After his first solo album, he did this jam session in G.I.T. By the way, thanks for this rare video clip. It's a jewel.
does anyone know how long he studied in GIT?
Such incredible playing...!! But he never got as famous as say Gilbert or Vai or even Becker.
the greatest talents never usually do
@@vanguard4065 That's the wrong way to look at it. Both Gilbert and Vai are incredible talented too ye they became famous. Sometimes talent needs a bit a luck to break out.
He is one of the best guitar players.. Virtuoso & composer, he loves rock & roll and classical music as well!!! Master!!
class of '86. heard his stuff at a guitar store on acid .sounded like Randy fighting the power .If you area 40+ and play guitar you know.we now return to Blackula meets Black Dracula with a bitchin' guitar.if you type Tony you also get Tony Atlas!
Whoa!! Did ya'll hear him quote "Dixie"??
Yea. I loved it lol.
Tony played better in 1986 than now :)
Is this with the original Edge of Insanity band? Great historical clip!!
that hair! amazing!
@gilsocius Grande amigo !! Obrigado.
É, gostei pra caralho mesmo.
@Bluenotemusical Obrigado aii !! Paulinho. Abração
Grande amigo João sempre arregaçando a "bagaça" mandando muito bro. Boa sorte e sucesso

that the problem this guy has no video in hd, at the past year 80
when they did up the ruins of our civilization, i hope this is all they find...
Thanks man! I love Tony's work!
you are guitar students... and it shows... really bad guys...
This really isn't as bad as that guy says it is in the comments. I actually think you have "better" technique than that other dude who plays this song better on youtube. Problem is it seems that you didn't take enough time to learn the song correctly all the way through. There's picking where it shuld be legato. Tapping that doesn't even exist in the song. But whatever, I commend you. Hell of a song to attempt
Wow. Great find. Thanx.. :-)
Fantastic and enthralling video for the dedicated TMac fans. Amazing to think he is now twice the age he was when this was filmed. Thanks for the upload!
