Samsung TU7000 'feature' that drives me insane
The clip is from a movie (should I mention the name or should I NOT mention the name?) where the effect was clearly visible and very reproducable, if it causes any copyright infringements I will obviously shorten it or remove it if necessary.
Bought a new TU7000 series TV. The first movie we watched was unbearable and after some time googling, I found it to be an "auto" setting that isn't "auto" as it should NOT do anything during movie playback.
(Auto Motion Plus also known as the 'soap opera effect' and indeed, it made the 50 million $ movie seem like something that was shot with a 150$ camera).
Now I am running into the issue shown in the video above. During dark scenes, it dimms the screen after a second.
Supposedly you can switch it off in a hidden menu, but really, should I be going into secret menu's on my brand new TV to get it anywhere near to acceptable?
I've had it, it is going back and no more Samsung for me.
About the clip above: I first tried it with my phone camera, and while the effect was visible, you could also clearly see the phone also adjusting the brightness and missing focus regularly. That's why I redid it with a Panasonic 4k camera on manual setting. The brightness of the wall in the right upper corner stays pretty much the same, so all effects you see are really the TV (imho) malfunctioning. The focus was also set to manual but I didn't notice it was slightly off... Sorry about that, but the effect I tried to show is clear I think.

Also see my other video where heating the flash memory to only 35ºC leads to a malfunction of several items in the car. This is the sequel where I try to pinpoint if it can be linked to a single bad solder joint. Spoileralert: yes it seems to be something like that. So far I have not been able to SEE this bad joint, despite inspection with a USB microscope, so the definitive verdict is still out.

CEM overheating is a reoccuring fault in these cars. It causes all kinds of issues including, but not limited to, windows not functioning, doors not opening (so you are LOCKED INTO YOUR CAR), the dashboard dying, gearbox downshifting, etc. Adding a fan and heatsink did not definitively solve my issues: standing in the hot sun still caused e.g. central locking to malfunction. So I added wiring s...

Tried to capture noise I get with sharp turns, thought it was purely mechanical from the right front wheel but since this video it did it during normal driving as well with any steering position except dead centre. But this faded during the next few kilometers. Posted here to ask on forums what the noise is.

Apple screwdriver video. Seller of screwdrivers says everything is fine after sending him a pic, so I made a video... One screwdriver is clearly too big to fit the pentalobe hole in this Macbook screw.
