Indeed. First United Methodist in Bloomington. Great acoustics. And decent audio given that it was recorded on an inexpensive Panasonic G7 with the built-in mic.
I wish that bass drum wasn't drowning out the hurdy gurdy. :(
Shot with an inexpensive Panasonic G7. Has a very small stereo mic, so the audio is so-so, but reflective of the sound in that space.
He is absolutely the most incredible musician I have heard in many a year! Likely other such musicians whisper about what's been done to the hurdy gurdy but his hurdy-gurdy is shouting it's here in the 21st century big and bold!
Got to see him live at FaerieWorlds in Oregon and I lost my mind💖💖💖 what an incredible artist!

Such artistry, such musicality, such soulful voices, such profoundly beautiful sounds. I don' think I will ever quite get over discovering them.
I only discovered this amazing group of artists by chance about three months ago. I´m just trying to work my way through all of the clips. The sheer artistry and musicality is so infectiouss even without understanding the lyrics. I have never seen female percussionists to rival Brasilian bands. Who could have imagined that the cello could add such a driving beat. I think I´m becoming obsessed.

a cello is just a wonderful instrument but it's the player that drives it, shortly: it's not the instruments but the musicians who make the music. it's a very intelligent music, with few effects, and the instruments are serving the voices!

Marconi Greenwood, I hadn't planned on recording the show, but was so overwhelmed by their performance that I started shortly after they began. I was getting knocked around by dancing fans, so I cut out those moments. One of the, if not THE best sets I've ever seen in 20 plus years of Lotus. If they come back some day, I'll definitely record the entire show.

Excellent band...the videos 'a little shaky' as you said but the resolution's good. A bit saturated on the audio. But it's pretty good for a 'home movie'.
Yes, one drawback to the camera is that there are only four audio settings, and even on the lowest, band audio is still too hot. But since this was just fan video, it's good enough.
