Mike vs the Snowdog
I had Lots of laughs watching Mike as he tried to negotiate a woods trail with the snow dog. No easy feat, considering the snow depth, steep learning curve and high physical demand operating this unique machine requires.

Mike 0 | Snowdog 1
We are rural Mainers that just found your channel and spend our days on similar adventures! Have a question regarding your video if fishing on Long Island. Do you have an email address I could send a quick question to? Thanks!
Any questions you have that you aren't comfortable with asking here can be sent to tacklethewild@gmail.com and we'll do our best to answer or direct you to someone who may know.
I am guessing. You guys are out of maine
We sure are. Most of our content is out of Maine but there is some from Arizona and hopefully Georgia soon.
🤘
Love your content! 🤘
And we love yours! Thanks for watching!
So cool! The snowdog machines look like a sweet little rip! Well done on those Pike, some beauties for sure
The snow dog has been a great addition to TtW, we use it nearly daily and look forward to putting out some content specifically about it. Thanks for watching!
Mmmm fruit tubes.
Hey man! Been looking to catch a big pike this season. Quick question. Can you park in on the north side on the road. it looks like theres area to park. I was planning to fish one of shallow basins on the north side of the pond. Probably 10-20 fow.
We weren't fishing the North side and I don't know the lake well enough to say for sure where you can park, but on Google maps it looks like you can park on both sides of rt 11 in Winthrop. Thanks for watching and good luck.
Awesome video guys!! I’m stuck in the hospital with Covid, so this is my incentive for getting out. Not far away from me either, I’m in Lewiston. What is that motorized rig , never seen one before? You guys look familiar too. Glad to see you hooking up with big fish.
Thanks for watching Ron! we hope you get better soon so you can get out and tackle some wild of your own. That machine is a 2022 snowdog sport that we picked up in Kingfield at Jordan lumber as our Tackle-mobile. It gets us and plenty of gear where we need to go in short order. We hope you get out to hook lips with tight lines soon.
How thick is the ice?
This recording was made last season, 2023, and at the time there was 14 to 15 inches of ice.
Did you make it to the top of Mt. Kimball? I see no video of the rocky summit area where you have a great view towards Mt. Lemmon. The video from 9:00 to 10:00 does not appear to be taken on the summit.
We did make it to the viewpoint at the end yes! (technically not the highest point) But we weren't all there at the same time. 😊 Sorry it took so long to respond.
Nice fish!
Is cusk the same as a burbot??
Sorry it took so long to respond, better late than never? Yes, same fish. Thanks for watching.
Very nice. And considering the elevation, and the bird’s coloring and docile nature, I’d say those are spruce grouse rather than ruffed grouse. I’d love to do this hike but I can’t seem to find any reliable directions to the trailhead. Can you help us out? Thanks!
Jesus Pete. Don't break a hip. Cool plane landing & take off while yall were out there.
Should’ve worn your creepers like John
"I broke my tripod, but there's a fish on, so it's ok." <----- genuine fisherman.
great video good shooting
Love this!!! I felt like I was practically there with you! Thanks for sharing your hike 😃🤘🏻
That was a LOT of backstrap out of that size buck.
That was a healthy young buck. We're still eating him.
I love how thorough you are with your butchering and trimming, getting the greatest yield from that deer. Great vid
Thanks for watching!
Cool

Those little fish are adorable! I could watch this kind of stuff all day.

Nice ridin
"whoopsie" 😂
I love it Pete! Only thing missing from the video is.... me! Next time!
Awesome video! Can’t wait to see more!

nice
Nice video! I'm impressed with the swamp water...but the stream water here in Maine was most likely pure enough and better tasting straight from the source
Worlds worse Canadian Eskimo….. can I have sane between my toes? This does look fun though!

Soon! We could probably make some space for an old feller! 😉😊
Thanks for a great video. Excited to see what's next!
Great job boys. Im really glad I found this video. My best friend's parents from childhood had a place on Echo Lake. I stated going up in 1965 until the early 90's. My friend died in a car accident in 78'. But I visited his parents often. I spent many nights Cusk fishing in the winter and Togue, Salmon, and Bass fishing in the summer. Thanks for bringing back the memories. I plan on going up again next year when I retire. God bless you and hopefully I'll see you up there!
I absolutely loved reading this. Thank you so much for sharing. Look us up when you come visit! We'd love to hear some stories and fishing tips! -Bryan
Nicely done! Great production, really makes me miss home,, though Bryan's jacket makes it hard to see anything.
Great start to an Awesome Channel!
Looks a great night!
