I was most surprised to hear about Suzanne Somers tonight. As I’m getting older, many celebrities and friends who have enriched my life are passing as we have lived. I absolutely love the texturing in this composition. I would love to hear the S2 and A lines come out a little more in the mix in some places because what's there is lovely!

7 years later and this song is just wow, the different emotions that you get with it. Almost close to the 5 stages of grief. Or the willingness to just let go and move on. This song is almost like a friend's message. But which friend? All I now it's a friend. Or someone you love dearly or someone who you respect. This song also ends in a beautiful note as telling us to transform that pain into something beautiful, as a sign of our own growth.

Who would've thought? I happened to play Civilizations 6 and happened to play against Norway, where the theme is a variation of this lullaby. I then happened to get curious about the music and looked it up, looked up so many different versions. And here I find myself!

This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever sung. Malca Litovitz' lyrics are incredible, and then from the darkest night of the year at 2:20 to the light surely returning. What a wish for a song that is intricate and full, in reverence of the sun.

The Tenor 2 solo at 1:14 is my favorite part.
