How did you disconnect the 2 transmission fluid cooling lines?
I think i just popped them out. I believe they were held in with pressure . Its been a while i did this repair
Where are you located? You have done some work I need done to my vehicle
Hi I'm in Atlanta area. What do you need help with?
@@hustlecarfix3160 changing the spark plugs and oil separator
Did it fix it please?
Yes it is fixed, just replace only the motor
Bravo 👏
You only remove the coil not the plugs, so ur title is wrong
The tip about not dropping whole pan was good.
The tip about not dropping whole pan was good.
It is a nice video but you missed to show how you removed the two metal pipes from left side of the radiator
Hi. Thanks for your video. Do you know the part number to order?
the tile should be how to remove the coil
I will edit and add video showing me removing the plug then. My assumption was that anyone doing this work should know basic understanding of plug being located under coil. I appreciate your feedback. Thanks for watching
did I miss it or was the back spark plug not recorded? Any tips on going the back spark plug on the passenger side?
For the passenger side it was not that bad, try to adjust the length of the wrench adapter you are using on the spark plug socket to fit in tighter space. It just requires a little bit of patience but you will get to them eventually.
thanks for the video - going to do this soon and couldn't find many walk throughs! PS I'd recommend you wear gloves when you can :) Take care!
I appreciate you watching and your feedback, please don't forget to subscribe. Thanks
not spark plugs ?
spark plug is right under the coil, my goal is to show you how to get to them, once you remove the coil pack use a 14mm to remove the spark plugs easy....
@@hustlecarfix3160 genius
Thanks man very clear instructions!
I appreciate it
😂😂😂😂
Great video, sir!
I appreciate it
If my battery died will it reset my alarm & prevent my 2006 Chrysler to move my gear so I can drive it won't let me move my gear stick , please help
How tight do you tighten the new spark plug?
i believe its 22ft lb
Noise persisted after axle replacement
It wouldn’t be a diy video without the smoke detector chirping in the background:)
Hahaha you know it !
That filter is from poland not germany!
Hi mate do you really have too remove the light ??
Hi bud, I removed it to have more space to maneuver. If you are able to do so without removing the headlight, go for it
Watching you work is like watching paint dry.
clearly not a fluid check
Thank you brother
You're welcome. Don't forget to subscribe please
Is there any tips on taking the spark plug out ? You didn’t show that part, you just removed the coil pack
You need 14mm spark plug socket to remove them. It'd have been almost a 2 hours video to show everything. That's how long it took me. But just be patient and work you hands and you'll be alright. The easiest ones to take out are the passenger side. The back spark plugs were the hardest but not too bad.
some spark plugs are 14mm 12 points star thin wall type another are 5/8 or 14 mm hexagon thin wall type, also use some WD40 or stronger nut removal oil let them sit for a couple of hours them you could star working on it
@@JulioSilva-mt4rw thanks , I appreciate it
That looks almost exactly what mine did when I yanked it out 8 years ago. Even after taking the nest out and blowing air through the entire HVAC the infamous rattling noise came, indicative of a failing motor which I'll be replacing very soon. If it's noisy and/or pushing miniscule amounts of heat/air through the vents then it's time to replace the whole thing. We can be glad it's so easily accessible in the Eclipse. It's one of those parts much like a battery ~ location can be totally random and not where you expect it to be, much harder to access. >_< When mine was bought, two dead mice eventually fell out onto the passenger footwell. That was unexpected but not surprising. Makes you wonder how long the previous owner had the car sitting, where, and why. Being a summer only car, mine sits during cold months and doesn't get any visitors strangely. ...and I just jinxed myself. Thanks for reassuring us where it is. Almost thought this would've been another 10 minutes upside down kind of job.
Haha Thanks for watching. I appreciate the feedback. Please don't forget to subscribe for more content
ATF fluid is standard. most fluids are do are coolants. sometimes. but if youre low youre low. and if you been low a long time. you might be fucked
What a horrible video. Waste of my time
So, didn't you just massively over fill your trans fluid?
Your crazy
@@hustlecarfix3160 You are absolutely correct! IF you want to ruin the transmission and void any warranty. If the transmission is doing ANYTHING that it isn't supposed to be doing... TAKE YOUR FORD FOCUS TOOOOOO THE DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIRS!!!!!!!! Do not attempt a self-fix at home!
@karynfelix-the-Cat this is such a terrible transmission for such a beautiful car. Ford has extended warranty on recalls. Check with your dealership. They are aware of the issues
The fluid you use is motor craft dual clutch fluid nothing else 🤘🤘
You are supposed to change the sensor AND a hardware (clips) when you change the pads. It looks like the sensor has been there for a long time, even before you painted calipers red. 😊
Not for me ; I find lubegard better
How did you remove the adapter
Its a broken forward piston its a common issue
that trans takes a special trans fluid and to change it you remove it from the bottom drain but you can add it from the vent tube port if you add slow,
Must not be true 😂 dude hasn't answered
It did not help. That transmission on that car is trash
Did it help.?
No it did not help
Excellent video... but why is he putting those metal objects on the paint.
Bad vid. Didn’t help me
How much is the maximum amount to use to avoid further problems? Can i just add 6, my car has 30000 miles, and want to use this as preventive.
Adding Lucas helped with transmission issues?
No. Ended up doing a clutch job later on
Great video. I just put them on my 2017 Q7 and it seems to have completely fixed the problem. I found getting them on a little more difficult. The key for me was using the biggest, most stable, flat head screwdriver I had to push them down and then giving the end a little tap with a 4 lb mini sledge hammer (carefully!). Thank you!
Oil extraction method wayyyyyyyyy easier
I've been having my lights and dash flicker while constantly blowing wiper relays. Gotta love chryslers lmao
Make sure you put a cardboard on your windshield in case the wiper arm that is a spring loaded will spring back and crack your windshield while you take off the blades
Mine does the exact same thing and throws the large evap leak code lol will be changing soon
Thanks for the video!!! Also, everyone should be aware that this could be only PART of that rodent nest! After you drop the motor out, check up inside the duct for more garbage. I had to run my shop vac up in there and then spray some disinfectant and wipe it all out.
Thanks man for the vid!
