Definitely! I was really lucky to capture these guys in action and I’m happy I was able to share the footage for training/educational purposes as well as giving some insight on what exactly the MSP Aviation Division does and how well coordinated these missions are in such little time to prepare. I’ve seen MSP at many events and it never gets old talking to the crews and seeing them operate and pilot the aircraft. As for this video I hope the victim made a quick & speedy recovery and I’d like to applaud all crews involved as well as the towing company who spared a wrecker to assist in extrication process

@@bigred.9840 no hoax, caller was calling in from her house on the water advising two people on a “birdie” were jumping up and down and might be having some issues, after investigating they were not in any distress so it was coded as a “good intent”

Here’s A Little Background This Engine Is A 1993 Sutphen It Originally Served At Snyder Fire Dept In New York When It Was Later Put Up For Sale And Bought by Hyde Park Vol Fire Co 25… In 2017 Middleborough Vfc 23, Rockaway Beach Vfc 24 And Hyde Park Vfc 25 Consolidated To Form Essex Vfc 51 Station 23 Was Sold Aswell As Everything Else Except The Ambo (Which Has Since Been Replaced) Hyde Park Vfd Is Currently The Building Everything Runs Out Of For Awhile The Sutphen Was A Reserve Engine For Company 51 Which Was Stored At The Old Rockaway Station On Seneca Rd (Which The Station Is Soon To Be Sold) The Two Frontline Engines Were Former Engine 252 (2003 Spartan/KME) & Former Engine 241 (2004 Pierce Enforcer) Within The Past Few Months Engine 511 (Ex241) Was Placed Out Of Service Soon To Be Sold In The Time Being The Sutphen Has Been Converted & Changed Over To Engine 511 Where It Will Serve Until A New Engine Replaces It
