@@krismclanegolf I do core aerate once a year and do a heavy mason sand leveling which helps a lot but I need a verticuter for when PGR makes it too thick.

@@krismclanegolf no putting green. Most greens here are TiffEagle Bermuda or bentgrass. There are guys like me here in the US and Australia where we are just competitive to have the best lawn LOL.

Hi,great question... So we implement both, mini hollow cores and deep scarify. The hollow coring is once or twice a year followed by a topdress. The deep scarify is done more often...usually upto 4 or 5 times through the year at different depths followed with a light dusting of topdressing. Doing both ways over the last 4 years,I have reduced thatch (organic matter) by a considerable amount and also during the winter months the greens have been really firm and true even after alot of rain. In the summer months the greens have been awesome 👌 absolute perfection. Don't forget...subscribe to the channel and feel free to ask any questions 😀

Hi,yes sand goes in the holes. It depends on a number of factors when to do it again eg... how much organic matter you have,what other maintenance are you doing to the greens. I do this once a year and the rest of the time I deep scarify followed by a dressing.
