The first time I heard this song, I was sitting outside my camper in the middle of the Texas desert. Covid was still running rampant. the music echoed into the wilderness. I felt so alone yet so at peace. Every time I hear it, it takes me back to that time in my life when I was lost and searching.

My cancer came back with a vengeance a month before he left me... Never told him about it cause I knew I wasn't worth his love. He wanted children and I didn't... Even then, I'd give up my life just for his love to be real. Just for him to return... and that's why I've chosen to let myself die. There is no one, not even him... I doubt he'll ever see this...
