Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint is an online tactical shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Paris and published by Ubisoft. Released on October 4, 2019, it is the eleventh instalment in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon franchise and a narrative sequel to Ghost Recon Wildlands1.
The game is set on the fictional archipelago of Auroa, a remote island chain in the Pacific Ocean. Players take on the role of Lieutenant Colonel Anthony "Nomad" Perryman, a U.S. Special Operations Forces member sent to investigate disturbances involving Skell Technology, a military contractor on the island. The Wolves have taken over the island, a rogue ex-U.S. military unit led by Nomad's former brother-in-arms, Colonel Cole D. Walker.
The game features an open-world environment that can be freely explored, focusing on tactical shooter gameplay from a third-person perspective. Players can choose to play solo or in a four-player co-op mode.
