As you mentioned the yellow quartz I remembered where I got it. There is a chip in the wrecks that has the recipe for it. It will say when you hover over the chip that it is for yellow quartz, so more searching required

Thanks for the episode. I think next time check out the new biomes. The ship is just the same as the other procedurally generated ones. Also you can craft yellow quartz, so you don't have to go through the rift to get some.

The animals will eat whatever you can eat. Like you, each food restores different amounts of health. You can autocraft larvae depending on what you have unlocked. Check in the biolab for the recipe

Thanks for the episode, as always! I'm glad you noticed that petting gave you a genetic trait - I noticed the first time you did it and didn't think you would know where they came from. I wonder if that is how you get the varient traits? I do think you should double-check the cabinets for the common, uncommon, and rare larves, and just be sure that you are demanding the matching grubs - when you built the cabinets I don't think they were all available to be crafted. Finally, I enjoyed seeing the animals, so I think an episode or two of exploring what you can create there would be fun. I think a base-building episode would be nice. And I think a terraforming boom episode (where you just try to get everything going as fast as you can) would be good. I don't need more protal exploring episodes. But of course, do what you want! I like the base building. It is nice to see things start to take shape. Small thing to check: I'm not sure the common larve box is demanding them - you unlocked being able to make them this episode and i think you need that to have the drones carry them. All the best!

Congrats on the new job! I have seen about 30 minutes of play of Pacific Drive, and it seemed like a great game, so I would definitely watch that. But, I think the others also sounded pretty decent. As long as you are enjoying it, it will probably be good.
