Stress less
December can be quite a stressful month but I try to take moments to be present and enjoy the little things in my life, like watching the falling snow or enjoying a cup of glögg and some ginger cookies infront of a cozy fire. I also try to just feel like a child now and then, and making snow angels and taste the falling snow. How do you relax and or find your inner child this season?

Letting Go

In this video, "Letting Go of Perfection", I share how I rediscovered my love for photography by using a simple, outdated digicam from the early 2000's. Like many of us, I’ve struggled with overthinking and the pressure to make everything flawless before I share photos or videos I make. And I fell out of love for the art. But this summer, I embraced the imperfections of a old digicam and focuse...

Filmed in October of 2023 in Phuket, Thailand. During my visit to Thailand, I explored the majestic Big Buddha statue perched atop a mountain, where the views were nothing short of marvelous. Traveling light, I relied on my iPhone 12 Pro Max and my trusty Panasonic Lumix DMC-GM1 for filming. The NYA-EVO Camera Backpack - Still a good choice in 2022?
wow! this is great. thanks for sharing :)
@@NoHomage Thank you, happy you enjoyed! 🙂
Any black camera from this time period is rare. Generally cameras were silver. Black was not seen as "the" color for a camera then as it is now. I had one of these in silver with the same lens, replaced it with the SRT 101 and the 58mm 1.4 and 135 2.8 Both top cameras.
It´s interesting how we see colors on tec differently through time.
Amazing 👏🤍
Thank you! 🙂
beautiful ! 🥰❤
Thank you!! 🙏 😊
Me encantó el video. Saludos desde Colombia

Fint!
Autumn is here. But I still had to say goodbye to Summer with one more video. It's bittersweet, but this season has also many things to look forward to. What do you like best about autumn?
What's your best memory of this summer?
Moving to Kerala from Delhi is my favorite memory of this summer, Delhi is a metropolitan city and on the other side Kerala is full of greenery, nature, rivers, good air. I liked the video, I hope to learn a thing or two from your videos.
Sounds like a really big change. Hope you enjoy your new life in Kerala!
There is a lot to talk about on this subject and I think there are different aspects and related topics, too, all of which are worthwhile. I don't have social media accounts. I share images with family alone at this point in time. I like to see myself improve and I have. That is satisfying for me. So, as much as the notion of others liking my photos is an attractive one, at the end of the day, I shoot for myself. But I can get burned out or lose interest, too. I started trying out impressionist photography, which by nature is not sharp. I believe it will free me up and get me back to thinking artistically as a starting place with any kind of photography. I'm not going to make a living at this and am not intending to. likely no one will see my work outside of a handful of people. For me there is no issue, nothing to lose and nothing to gain. It frees me up. Not competing opens my doors to a wonderment of possibility since I am not constrained by anything. This is a good video on a worthwhile topic, Tina. Thank you for making and sharing it.
I think it's really healthy that you don’t have social media and are creating just for you. I wish I could say the same! It started that way for me, but I got caught up in the pressure of algorithms, and it took away some of the joy I had in creating. When you're always trying to fit into a niche, it can feel repetitive and a bit dull-like you're just making the same thing over and over again. That's one reason why I’ve pretty much stepped away from Instagram. But I’m getting better at finding the fun again! :) Social media can be such a time consuming sink too. I’m starting to wonder if it might be better to not have it at all (except for UA-cam). Using my old digicam this summer gave me a fresh perspective-it was so freeing in its simplicity, reminding me of how things felt before social media. Sometimes we really do need to take a step back to move forward. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts! I think I’ll talk more about these kinds of things in future videos. UA-cam feels like a good place to experiment and discuss different topics, and this is definitely one of those important conversations with so much more to explore.
I'm interested in how you think about this. Do you feel the pressure and anxiety of being perfect in your life, or social media? Do you think about how you are perceived, or do you just do your thing?
Awesome video mate 🎉 you are really good 😊 Now I am only use drone but in future I want to create content like you 😊 good job dude 🎉❤
Thank you so much 👍

Do you like rainy days?
Whats the lense?
Hi, Long time ago so I don't remember exactly but probably the kit lens that came with the camera (28-60mm FE 4-5,6 ) and a 24mm 1,4 GM Lens.
:)
I just purchased a camera exactly like yours (1913) but sadly the film loading door was broken which I didn't notice in the ebay photos. I may be able to shoot film in it by using Gaffers tape to block light but since the winder falls off it's a nightmare to reinstall the film door. Maybe this one goes on the shelf and I buy another. Thanks for the video and I look forward to seeing the pictures you take with this camera.
Sad to hear it was broken. If you can’t get it to work, it is a part of camera history, AND beautiful to look at, a second life on a shelf where you can see it maybe? I’ve started to take photos so hopefully the old roll of film I’ve been using is ok and can be developed.

It's lovely! 😍
This is truly beautiful and moving! 🥹❤️ I'm happy to see you back so calm and soul healing. Watched it paired with a cup of chamomile tea and the loud sound of seagulls arguing on the roof of my house.
Thank you, It’s nice to be back at it again. ❤️ A cup of tea sounds lovely but the seagulls arguing maybe not so calming. 😂 I myself have been watching and listening to different kind of birds today. There is a pair of European pied flycatchers nesting just outside my window. Really calming and lovely to watch them fly back and forth.
@TiinaPetersson The whole nature seems suddenly so busy... ❤️ As for the noisy seagulls on my roof, I know it sounds paradoxal. 😂 How different we perceive and react in a similar situation! Imagine a mum whose kids are having another conflict and she decides not to intervene anymore, let them solve it alone. Sometimes, that emotional neutrality is a blessing because it makes me realise how the world doesn't end if I let go of control for a few minutes.
True words! To let go of control can be hard, but also as you say, make you realise that there are bigger things in life to spend time and energy on. And that is a strength.
I'm usually a very positive person but winter blues hit hard this year. After taking a long break I'm now back with more energy and creativity. I missed you, Hope you been well!
Hi Tiina, hope you're well. I miss the company of your beautiful uploads. 🪻
Hi @theundine and thank you for thinking about me, it warms my heart! Winter depression or low energy hit hard this winter. And I’ve have been struggling to make videos. I haven’t even opened UA-cam for quite a while. But. I there will be a new video soon as I’ve got more energy as the spring light returned. Thank you again for thinking of me and my little channel! ❤ See you soon!
Hi Tiina! I'm sorry to hear that you've been struggling this winter, but I'm glad that the spring light is finally here to bring more energy and inspiration. Take care and prioritize your well-being above all else. Hope to see you back soon.
@@UndinesOcean Thank you and I have been. I feel so much more energised now. Hope you are well as well! 💛 Ps. New video tomorrow! ☺🌸

Such a blessing to live there! I imagine the crispness of the freezing air, cleansing the lungs, and the mind of negative thoughts. The winter is nearly over here and we had no trace of snow in the small town in Hampshire, England where I live. Hopefully next year... 🙏🏼🥹
It is beautiful, but not always. Lots of days with just grey everything and rain. And no sun for weeks. But there are beautiful snowy and/or misty days too. :) You can find the beautiful even in the grey. (I've been struggling with that this winter though). Hope you will have a white winter next year! But before that a beautiful spring and summer! :)
My favorite was at 6:01. Thank you. 😊
☺Thank you! This one was on my top 5 this walk.
Fint :)
Tack! 😀
This week I'm out photographing mist and frost!
Great video! It makes me consider slowing down when I cook to enjoy the process.
Thank you, happy to give you a moment of thought. Give slowing down a try! Wish you a great week!
Another calming video. ❤ Thank you for sharing from your kitchen! For me, cooking by recipes feels like a chore, with more steps than actually are, and, usually, by the time the food is cooked, I feel too tired to even eat it. Plus, it never looks like the original picture, which makes me feel like a total disappointment. 😂 So I prefer to cook basic recipes that I do over and over again, with ingredients that are always on my shopping list, regarding it less like an art and more like a source of energy. For more fancy stuff or to experiment with different traditional cusines, I will simply dine out.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. 💛 I hear you.The basic recipes are a go to for me also but sometimes it fun to experiment. Makes it more enjoyable. For me anyways.
So beautiful! 🥹❤️
Thank you! I love the soft light on these mornings!
Surrealistic 😍 love this!
Thank you! 🙏 😊 maybe I should do a few more portraits with my fish bowl? I have a few ideas…🙃
Waking up to a misty morning for the chance to go out photographing or just to take a walk in the beautiful mist makes my heart sing. I'm waiting for the next one! How about you?

Arigatou! Thank you so much. ( I hope I spelled it right!)
Your journey is beautiful, like you heart, Tina! I'm enchanted with this lovely video, it's calming and very inspiring.
Thank you so much for kind words! I’m happy you liked it! 🌻
What’s your favorite thing about fall? 🍁
Colours, rich and subtle, with the scent of woodlands and wet grass. Woollen jumpers, retrieved from summer storage, and worn like old friends. Woodsmoke and the acridity of burning leaves, and the sight of birds flying high in a pale sky. Seeing my breath on the morning air, and knowing that a book awaits on a table by a fire.
@@mrstandfast2212 I absolutely love your description about fall and woollen jumpers and friends. A fire and a good book is a must at fall nights, and maybe also a glass of smokey whiskey.
Min. 0:32 I felt the warmth laying down your body. ❤ Beautiful! I enjoyed this quiet moment, though I'm so looking forward to hearing more of your words.
Thank you, I love spring and the energy you get from the first spring sun after a long cold winter, it's amazing! :) Words can be hard to sometimes, but there will be a new video tomorrow. With words. Hope you'll like it!
I just came across your channel, to discover what a beautiful person you are! Your videos are delightful collages that leave me in wondering astonishment and really make me question my life. I'm not sure if I document it in any way... I don't practice journaling, though I write poetry and I try to express gratitude everyday. Recently, I started making videos of my poetry, and I feel that it made a great impact on the way I perceive the space around me, I turn more towards nature and I give it more credit for the way I feel.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I think poetry is a beautiful way to document your life because it is about your feelings and/or the way you see the world. So keep on writing and make videos! :) Nature has also a great impact on me. It gives calmness to my soul, and If I have a bad day, a walk in the forest is the best medicine.
@TiinaPetersson I feel the same. It is very satisfying to wait until I find heavenly, meaningful words that express my thoughts. Wishing you all the best with your channel and I'm excited to see what's coming next. 🩶
Do you document your life? How? Love to hear your thoughts.

sorry not yet, I took a few photos early summer but because I don't have that much film I have been a little bit selective with what I shoot. And the film is ISO 100 and this summer has been a lot of grey days... a lot of exuses I know but I'll, get there. :)
