Thanks!! There are legal copyright restrictions meaning that you cannot export the material to other formats. However, you can record and replay within the MusicTiles app, and send the recordings to your friends who have MusicTiles. You can do so from the menu MT Mixes. Yes, we are doing our best to include more artists.

Thanks! It is only available on the iPad2 and above, unfortunately, due to memory restrictions on the smaller/older models. The B parts are only used in a couple of song versions. Hope that you have good fun with it on iPhone4 even without the B page button. :-)

It would be nice to have a Windows/PC version to play with on a home computer.

After using the tool, sorry the toy, I must say that I like it ! Yes is expensive (I spent about 20 $) but I discovered a very relaxing tool. And next time I will double check before writing a comment :-) What I would like to have: the possibility of renaming my own mixes and the possibility to "own" it, which means to use it in my player. Is this impossible for technical or legal questions ? Please Henrik, see if other bundles can be added (from PG or also other musicians). Thank you.

I am so disappointed that it's only for Apple products. I refuse to own anything Apple related. I feel that as a huge fan of PG, I'm being ignored because I use an Android product. Please consider not alienating a large portion of your fan-base, by releasing this product on something other than - or at least in addition to - the Apple line of products.

Not impressed, Peter. This is a silly, patronising gimmick. This might be good as a website page to keep you interested, but as a re-mix tool it is just a toy.

Seems a similar idea to Noodle Player (another Peter Gabriel remix tool). Could you sum up what differences really distinguish MusicTiles from Noodle Player?

Please, consider the millions of people who own an "Android operated" gadget. Why not releasing it for Android? It will reach MANY more fans! =)

This is a great tool for PG fans to interact with the music they love. Bjork has an alternate interface, and Jammit has a tool for isolating instruments from master tapes. It's all good. Thanks for the new toy.

Please click on Download Song in the menu, and from here you download the six other song versions (or buy albums from the Buy menu). Please also see the musictiles website

If I could say one thing to PG it would be: beware those who would use your wonderful music to skin $15.00 scalps from teenagers who should be learning to play real instruments instead of this crap. Unbelievable.

To delete one of your mixes, please choose MT Mixes in the menu, click on the mix, and you can choose between playing, sharing by email, or deleting that mix. Hope it works nicely for you.

And in the AppStore description: "7 song versions included (incl. 3 Peter Gabriel song versions).", so you get those 7 included to begin with.

It does seem quite explicit in the App Store description: "You download new songs by pressing Download Song, choosing the song you want to download (e.g. from Buy a MusicTiles Song), and entering your Apple ID password for payment. Song bundles (with three song versions) are 1.99$ each. OFFER on So album with 26 song versions for 13.99$. Afterwards the song is downloaded and stored in your app for you to play with it."

What you didn't say, is that the App has a cost AND that every single clip has to be purchased separately. I'm not a fan of the "all must be free" and I accept to pay for what I want, but you shouldn't say that as soon as you get the App you have also the music in it. Write it on the details of the App Store. And is not clear for me how to delete unwanted recorded clips. Especially at the very beginning you make mistakes you don't want to keep. Thank you
