So this one is a rare occurrence, where i find alternative takes of scenes with the same dialogue. I found some before with Laura and Travis in Chapter 10, and one in Chapter 4 with Emma. This time, it's a whole scene being redone. My guess is because in some scenes with Jacob and Emma in the game (especially late game), they recorded their dialogues separate and the developers just matched them together, which would result in the first alternative. Then at some point they might've thought it was better to record it together, which resulted in the scene we got now. Still an interesting find nevertheless, and one amazingly still in the game. It's always fun to see actors use different tones and inflections for the same dialogue. In the alternative take, he seems more defeated and tired. In the scene in the game, he's more annoyed and frustrated.

Brenda Song's is one of the best models Supermassive Games has made.

Here's one i found in the files of the game, a tutorial on the relationships you can make. Now from what i could find, there is no animation for it, nor is there any sound effects for it either. So it's clear they were gonna cut this before the animation stage even began. I'm unsure why they would cut this, maybe because the relationships you have with others don't have a HUGE impact on the story except Laura and Travis. Only minor choices and dialogue here or there. Even though it was deleted, it's still a cool find.

Here's another one i found while exploring the different camera tricks this game has used (which i will actually make a video about on my main channel cuz some are very interesting). This one involves an instance where Laura pushes Travis to the ground on her way out of the room with Constance and Jedediah. Now this scene is COMPLETELY removed from the game, but a little bit of animation was left, letting me snag the audio. Now i still haven't managed to get into the actual files of the game, but when i do, i'll try to get all the scenes and dialogues i can't get using the mod i'm using. This seems like it would be a QTE segment where if you pass it, he falls, or if you fail it, you get what you usually get in the main game. Not 100% clear as again, don't have the files or code, but it's still an interesting segment nevertheless.

Thank you for continuing to find these hidden gems. They add so much more context to the game's story. Ryan and Chris especially (unfortunately).

Hey guys! It's been a while! So as you all know, i made a LOT of removed and deleted content for The Quarry using a glitch i found in the game. However, i just wasn't fully satisfied with the glitch as i know there's a LOT more removed and deleted dialogues and scenes to uncover. So i took the liberty of getting into the game on PC to mod it, so i can potentially access the removed stuff the glitch couldn't get. And this is one of the dialogues so far that i've found, involving Chris talking to Ryan about animation school. Now i will also play The Quarry on its 1.0 update version, as i also bought the game on disc (yes i bought the game 3 times, what of it? lol), because people have discovered some of the deleted scenes are accessible on the 1.0 version. So if you want deleted and removed dialogues for The Quarry, make sure you subscribe as i'm gonna work very hard to get as much as i can!

after creating a story and working so hard to make it enjoyable, having doubts about how to make the audience hooked on this game. seeing what fits and what doesnt, a lot of stuff gets removed in games like this! have fun with it and dont overthink it! i love all of these deleted lines.❤

Honestly I feel like they should’ve kept this. 1 bc it makes Kaitlyn’s ‘r u done?’ Line make a lot more sense, and 2 it gives Ryan and Dylan a bit more in game chemistry. I personally found myself shipping Dylan with Jacob more than Ryan just bc the two have a similar vibe. As much as I also love Rylan, in the end result it turned into an “Annoying x Annoyed” type of ship which really bummed me out
