Interesting aircraft. From an old ordnance Naval Aircrewman. 8500 hours in the P-3 aircraft. VP1/16/17/49/30/CPWP Weapons Chief. 1978-1998.

I'm super curious about the patch on the right shoulder of the pilot at 0:21. It appears to be modelled on or similar to a Navy Fighter Weapons School patch but with a multi engine aircraft in the center. Anyone got any answers? Fantastic video by the way.

Cool, I have some stills I took of some of our ships in the Gulf of Mexico. We did deployments to Sigonella and Rota/lajes. Long time ago back in the early 70s. I was an AX. Got out moved to Alaska and even learned to fly and had a plane. Retired as a communications tech.
