Never prepare home made clay in a micro-wave! It is better to cook it in a pan on the stove. There are many recipes on UA-cam. One of the best is by Natasel. Another one is by Yobanka art. It takes patience and time to achieve this kind of art. But, it's possible! Don't give up! By the way, all tools, pan, bowl and wooden spoons used to make the clay, can not be used for other purposes.
