YWCA on September 12th, hosted USAID/ IGIRE Implementing Partners and Government stakeholders, in a Joint Field Visit in Kicukiro District. Participants interacted
USAID/ Igire Wiyubake DREAMS participants who shared their experience and stories since joining the Activity.
The visit was also an opportunity to provide feedback and key learnings for further engagement for greater impact.

After being defiled and giving birth to her first child at 16, Fillette Uwineza experienced a series gender based violence. This was until she participated in USAID/Igire Wiyubake Activity, where she learned that she can exercise her rights by reporting such cases and taking charge of her life.
