All 55-59 age group Pb's, on 3 days a wk running maximum, & zero training plan's. 👴
80%+ National level age grade for distances from 800m to 5K.....😎
My achilles heel, Hills 🥵, the flatter the better for me, I'm no hill runner.

Of course John 👍
Nice one Stephen. Would you mind if I used some of this in my own video?
I had some mic issues early on, but it doesn't last more than a few minutes 🙄
Tough one but you made it look easy. Great 🏃♂️ 👍
I stopped to walk on one of the banks, but think it was only 13 secs..
12th in 22:29, happy with that time, as I hate hills...
You're an inspiration! 43 mins at age 59!! Brilliant!
Really surprised by the lack of support on the route, it is Boro mind 😂
Looks like a great route 👌
Nicely done Mate! I resemble the train runner as well! I’m definitely not a nose breather :-)
Nice video Mr Dent 👍🏽
You still running, as I haven't heard from you in a while...🤔
@@StephenDent-sr6cr aye, still going out a couple of times during the week. Just easy pace short runs with my wee dog. 😊
Well done Stephen, crackin run.
Love the thumbnail 🧡
Well done, great video and great running! Always a tough run that one.
Have ran 5:48 twice there, but that incline after the first turn, nearly kills me by the time I get to the top. Can't run much quicker here, but still enjoy the run, & its a good group here...😎
It was an amazing breakfast 🥪☕️
Your poster boy looks familiar 😂
Thank you for this!
Great run! 😊 And also location and weather! 😊🏃♂👍🏻
Definitely didn't feel a great run 🥵, but thanks anyway..😎 👍
Will have to do this parkrun. It’s looks beautiful
Great job pal. Cant wait till my parkrun videos have a similar runtime haha
Being 58 I'm getting slower, & finding it difficult to get a sub 20, you know what it''s like 😂, I'm a subscriber to your channel by the way. 👍
Thanks for the subscription. Just subscribed to yours so will check out a few of your videos.
My home course! Its brutal when the wind is in your face 😮
Ran there once & had a headwind on the return leg, it was 2 steps forward & 1 back, trying to slipstream behind a runner in front, & both of us manoeuvring towards the wall section on the right for some shelter..🤣
@@StephenDent-sr6cr I know! The wind is at its worst when it’s in your face coming back (or your marshaling at the turn point or toilet block!!). The best strategy is find someone tall and hope for the best. I’ve just realized it’s me as the RD as well 😜
Nice work, I miss the northeast Billingham I am from 🏁🏁
Thanks 👍, should of pushed a little bit harder in the last km, but you win some lose some I suppose 🤷♂️ 😎
It's a nice course but they are very nasty hills particularly the one before the cone! @58 that is a great run / time...
Thanks Keith 👍 my pb there is 19:51, but not as fast now 🤔, & I was a young 57. 😂
Ive never seen the front of a parkrun until this video 😂 great running. Keep up the good work 👌
Thanks 👍, not good enough to stay there at 58 yrs, but enjoyed it while it lasted. 👴
Working hard 💪
Proper cross country course, give another month, and you'll need your XC spikes!
Don't think I'll be going back there for a parkrun Colin, but will return for a proper visit in the future..🙂
@StephenDent-sr6cr every day is a school day, as they say. Having gotten to know you lightening that doesn't surprise me.
Lovely to meet you both yesterday.
You too!
Thank you, I'm going next week and wasn't hopeful, with only two events held so far, of finding a video of the course. It's helped answer questions I had about the terrain. Thanks again and well done on your run.
Thank you for sharing - great to see all my team were in the right places and the signage looked good!
Heinz 57 parkrun ... Northallerton has a bit of everything. Sections of the course reminded me of pretty much every parkrun I've ever visited. Great running & a great vid 👍
Cracking run Stephen. I was impressed that you weren't even out of breath until I realised I had you on mute😁
Now that I've managed to work out the external mike position & editing software, I'm always out of breath.🥵......🤣 👍
Looks like a great place for a run 👌
Enjoyed this course, but it's not a sub 20, well not for me..😎
Looks lovely mate…although it’s rather quiet minus the darth vader moments after the run :-)
My wife filmed this but missed the first 300m, hung on like dear life at the end, I'm in the white vest, , still my 800m pb though., around 82% overall age grade. 😎
One of the very slowest UK courses, according to Tim Grose's rankings. Number 741 out of 760. Nice scenery though!
Came 10th in 24:25 ( should have been 24:15 ), my pb at Hamsterley 22:11, won't be going that quick again, still a few walk breaks even for that time.👴 👍
Given that you set off at 0:15 in the video and hit the finish line at 24:30 as best I can tell, it indeed seems that your true time was about 24 minutes 15. But in that case why is the official time 10 seconds greater? That's a big discrepancy. Any ideas?
@@BadCyborgMovies no idea why its 10 seconds longer, if it had been a pb finishing time I would question it, but it is what it is, 🤷, you win some, you lose some I suppose.😎
Well you were clearly about 2 seconds behind the Hunwick Harriers guy (blue vest), and his official time is 24 minutes 13 (consistent with the video), so the timekeeping definitely went wrong after that. Makes me wonder if everyone behind you has likewise now got the wrong time (robbed of 10 seconds). Personally I'd report it, but it's your call. Might lead to some more or better PBs for people though!
@@StephenDent-sr6cr I ran that day and my time was spot on. I finished 14th
Wow, not much chance of getting lost on _this_ course eh? I think I'd prefer a few twists and turns for interest, but the trail is certainly appealing and looks very promising for doing a fast time.
straight out & back, but enjoyed the shade on a warm morning, would have liked a sub 20, but came in in 20:33.
Well, sub-20 _next_ week maybe, if it's cooler. By the way, I'd suggest including your time as part of your videos (at the end). It's a key part of the story.
