Jesus loves you live in Detroit
This guy was just playing on Woodward Ave during the Detroit Electronic Music Festival with all his gear powered off his car. Pure Detroit.

Omon Ra Its So Nice To See You All Again
i love arthur , yes
lyrics to this are just unreal
Really hard rock brothers
Just found one of my old favourite songs... beautiful melody.
youtube put this on the top of a madeup AI playlist called "folk music" lol. two omon ra (this on top) and then just endless shady albainan neofolk HAHAHA. you beat the system!
R there any more from this tape?
This rearranges something in my soul ...
I love the sensibility he did put in his music
sublime sweet arthur
Best Bill Fay song
this cut is unreal
To me I can and I do Do what I want When I want to Now I want to To me I made it up to you What I said to you Is not true Now it is true In my heart beating Beating far Into the far, far future In the mud that's on the tire On that sunny morning What a day before Riding bikes is so intense The foreign word That says Me for real Its me Still on my bike Love is turning Do it again It's you that I like Do you you say it's not true Do what i want When I want to Now I want to In my heart beating Beating far Into the far, far future Me for real Me for real
Dev Hynes Sampled this. Baby Florence (Figure) on the Angel's Pulse album
Was it taken from "Don't Knock My Love" by Wilson Pickett in 1971?
Arthur changed my perception of life. for real.
I feel you
love
wow.throbakz
Mustafa Khaliq Ahmed on percussion
You can tell he studied north Indian music in college
love putting this in my sets
Hey could you send it to me please?
@@marcushamilton2507 I know I'm VERY late but it's off the "another thought" record
Keinemusik crue brought me here! :)
same
Excellence in audio form.
es el mejor ahora y siempre
Yeah, but the strings don't..
No not Hegarty sound alike. I couldn't connect with that at all. Arthur is more relatable. He is brilliant, unique.
hegarty seems overly dramatic and over produced, there is something much more earnest about this
GENIAL
Magnificent testifying Southern Soul at it's best.
we are all, in time
His vocal stylings remind me a lot of Antony Hegarty. Very enjoyable.
Got the sound!
Again......blame it on Sufjan.
If I remember the film, his parents admit failing to appreciate his genius while simultaneously recognizing it. I feel the same way. It's not on my wavelength but a whole lot of people I really admire feel very differently than I do.
great statement on neurodiversity e afins :)
This is such a jam
amazing!
This is dull as cream cheese.
This is dull as cream cheese.
proper DJ always tells artist name only ;)
I like this
@tfbaxxter another thought, the compilation of unreleased stuff they released a few years after his death
Cheers
@islandsq I bet it was How We Walk on the Moon (Youth Return to Base Edit)
@chillpullman Go look up 'genius' in the dictionary. You'll find that Arthur Russell fits in with at least one of the definitions. You can't deny that he was a remarkably creative individual. Whether or not you appreciate that is something that can't be disputed.
for real - thanks for posting
Tubular.
gimme that drink!
